Mine did the same in about the same amount of time. Only, you know... reaching for the light, instead of the actual sun. Ha. Just checking on it every now and again to keep up with it's growth, it's easy (for me, at least) to forget that this is a living thing. When it moves toward the light in six or so hours, after some LST. It really clues you in. Blows your mind. And, approximately 6 hours later. Already reaching for the sun.
Hah, close. I actually tried a shoelace first, but switched to this. It's the flexible strap from an oxygen mask. The strap that goes around the back of your head, holding the mask to your face. I like that it is flat and has flexibility. I tightened it up today. The trusty lst shoelace...nice.
why no more LSTERS in here, or no updates. whats goin on? na just kiding i dont mind. and jumbo that plant is great lookin for 14 days. and yes i have started lston a seedling that had its first 2 single leafs. it was about 4 inches tall and all stock so i pinned it to the dirt and it stood about 6 inches at harvestpics are a few days old, but this lil Blue Dream seedling is kickn ass
its 14 days old in the pic, tied her down on day 7. she had one node when i LSTed.
any body else tie down stretched out seedlings?
Thanks mcpurple. Yeah, I may just end up tying the branches onto the lattice. That makes the most sense, but I'm just keeping an eye on it for now.thats a nice lsted girl u got goin and last years plant looks great but ya a lil to tall for the balcony. if it were me i would tie the plant to the middle of the lattice and keep tying as she grows so she kind grows along the fence. and also tie her down some for the first 2 weeks of flower to pull the streching down.
What about both?I just started a grow when I'll be making a side-by-side comparison of LST vs Topping. I'll be sure to post pics here as well as on my journal in case anyone wants to see the difference if they need help making a decision
Here's a few more pics of the Kandy Kush. All of those side branches are now growing straight up. Should I start tying those down too?sounds good, keep us updated on how she does if u dont mind
