Well we took the fan leaves and sweet leaf from trimming and dried them, blended them and made canabutter out of it. We made 2 sticks of butter with a cup and a 1/4 of the "bud flour". She is gonna try different things and we are not sure how strong they will be, but here is the first creation:
Orange Dark Chocolate Truffles.
I just ate 2 and we shall see if they have some kick. They didn't use a lot of butter so it really depends on how strong the butter ended up being

Cool dude was that the first time or had you smoked in the past? Either way I'm just glad you had a taste of the smoke that you, yourself and nobody else, grew. So what was her end of the deal anyway? LOL! How did that truffle taste? Every time I've made cannabutter it tasted like my dog ate my weed drank some bong water then threw it up in my mouth.

whats up everyone had to make my first post somewhere so i figured i can help out in this thread i grow with 2 90w ufos and cfls and im on my 3rd run and pullin 3oz per plant finally. i was one of those assholes who actually believed it would be = to a 400w so i crammed 6 plants underem and had a shitty harvest. topping/fimmin and lst is mandatory and plant count had to be cut down and my yields shot up i put 1 per light and they grow so much better stick the cfls under the canopy for lower growth it will fill out im bout to chop ne day and one of my plants looks like a 4ozbush i will post pics asap wheni figure out how cause i know there will be doubters these lights are great for there purpose but u would need 6 of em to = 600w hid def if u believe there hype it would be 4.44444grams per watt for this light to = a 400w 1g per wat is more then respectable though and what i set my goals at
as for the butta im def the man to help you out there as my edibles are poisonous
the key to making the butta devestating is putting the weed/trim on a baking pan and into the oven for 10 min at 325 it called decarbonization and activates the thc then into the pot or crockpot with the melted butter and water after about 2hrs i add some kief and bubblehash let it go for another hour and strain with a cheese clothes i prefer not to use gloves when i squeeze the cloth as it helps with my arthritis or at least i think it does then into the fridge for 24hrs and then i seperate it and u can use it neway you like if it u dont like the taste u can keep cleanin it by putting it back on the stove with water and remelt it do this till ur satisfied i dont do this though as i like the taste this recipe was passed on by my boy on another site resp to my man che and his blackout cookbook

and the second lady is the same strain without the toppin it will prob yield half of what the fatgurl will im still making adjustments with this setup and its far from perfected but am now set that topping is a must everytime i think i will be getting yield of hid as per real watt

So I was pretty happy with the truffles. My gf didn't really feel much because she ate one, then an hour later ate the other one. I took both of mine when she ate her second one. Too about 45 minutes to kick in, but it was a good mellow high while I ate some pizza! 3 hours later I am still buzzed.
As far as how to make it, I saw a video with Hans online. Pretty easy, heat water and add butter. when it's melted, add the ground up leaves (food processed) and let simmer/low boil for 3 minutes. srtain with cheese cloth into 13x9 glass pan and put it in fridge. the butter will get hard on the top, break it up and strain it from the water. The water will STINK, so don't spill it. Use about 4x the water as butter, and use 1-2 cups chopped leaves per half pound of butter

I have smoked before, but am a lightweight. I like to be in control so if I smoke too much I get uncomfortable, not a cool high in my mind. Couple hits on the bong or steamroller and I am good. I think I could handle 3 treats! lol
i runnin 1 90w ufo on top of the plant about 4 in above the tops 1 42 2700 and 2 26 w 6500s placement is key u really want to get them in as close as possible so that the buds fill out
glad u like ur butta it would of been way more potent if u preheated the bud first my womens a heavy smoker and ater a 1in brownie square and i found her hidingunder a blanket havin a panic attack my buddy who is close to 300lbs ate 2 and had similar experiance except we found him in my basement in the corner talkin to dirtycloths i had a great night though

Got back from a camping trip and the new ladies have gone crazy! They are now starting to touch the lights, but since they aren't super hot it isn't burning the leaves. The hairs are popping out like crazy though! I know that there is too much crammed into the cab right now, but I am gonna let them go until I see that there is a negative effect. With exception of the plant in the center which was a mother plant, I trimmed the others down so that they only have 2-4 branches on them with virtually no small sprigs except toward the top. I wanted to concentrate the bud growth this time. The mother is a beast though. Her base is over an inch in diameter! She is growing under the LED almost directly. Here are a couple pics so you can see:
These are much taller than the previous grow, they are positioning the leaves around the light to "trap" as much as they can. I hope they don't get taller.

This is the downside to such a small grow area. As you can see, this is why I don't have HPS in there, lol! The good news is that the plants are closer to the light this time around. After the last grow I will look forward to seeing how these buds develop being closer to the light rather than over 12" away like last time

Same strains as last time. 3 Cameo and 2 Peachez this time. Jade is now RIP. I just clone them so I know how the genetics grow and then try to improve each grow to bring out the best that these "bagseed ladies" have to offer, lol. If I can come across some mainstream genetics some day, I may try to grow those. Right now I am working on my greenthumbThey're lookin well on there way! Keep it up
Depending on how this grow goes, I may go with less plants next time. Might go all the way down to 3 to see if I give the plants more room if they yield higher. So far, the buds in the centered plant (mother Cameo) is ahead of all the others. She has big puffs of white all over and they are getting bigger than the last grow was at this time in the grow. Fingers crossed!

I am starting to get encouraged with these plants. Even though the height is a bit of a concern, I looked at the pics from week 3 of my last grow and these plants have more bud sites and they are more developed than that of the previous grow.
Here is a pic from my largest Cameo plant last grow.
Here is a pic taken from further away from the plant that is in the cab now. To me it looks like the buds are bigger AND tighter together than the previous grow. What do you guys think?
The plants on the perimeter of the cab are not as far along as those toward the center. This is obviously due to lack of light on the outside. The branches that are getting both LED and CFL light are thriving. I am now mentally planning out how I can alter this cab, OR build a new enclosure, that will optimize the lighting that I have to the plants in future grows.
On the smoke front, we still have about 80% of the bud from last grow, so it looks like there should be no rush for the next crop.
Hope everyone is having a great grow and please stop in and comment!

Wow looking very nice. Isn't it strange how the plants smell for the first few days after a chop. That chlorophyll smell is strong it's crazy what a good cure will do.

Still have about 75% left! 4 weeks into this grow. Testing the vertical limits of the cab with this grow! After two weeks these plants were touching the lights and the lights were as high as I could set them. I'll try to post some new pics tomorrow!

Cab shotPlants don't seem to be growing much taller other than the from the buds getting bigger. The two Peachez plants don't get much light and seems that they will have low yield probably. Cameo on the other hand is doing well on all 3 plants, mostly the mother since she is hogging most of the LED light!

Cameo shots.I went to the grow store today to get more FloraBloom and Liquid Koolbloom and saw that they had a Dry Koolbloom product there. I didn't get it while I was there because I didn't have enough cash with me (I don't use bank cards to buy stuff there). I came home and did a little research on that product and I feel like it is what I have been missing! This is a bulking/ripening agent. My buds seem to get to a certain point and then stop growing (about the 6-7 week point). The dry koolbloom is supposed to be used during the second half of flowering! LOL, makes perfect sense! This should help pack on some weight, but it also induces stress in the plant to produce oils and floral fragrence as well. I plan on going back tomorrow to get a bag of it.
Has anyone used this before??
