What do I need??

i got one shot to make it work. I got 220 femanized Northrn Lght seeds, 14 1000w lights(How many more do I need?) and a 7 month window. Realistically, can it be done if I dedicated a bulk of my time to it? Also any tip about filtering the smell and proper air circulation would be greatly appreciated. Is dirt really more forgiving than hydro? And is it true you can turn your buds purple by putting ice at the base of the plant??
 
Again, a good grow book. If you're not willing to do the work i.e., research,few people will be inclined to offer help. Besides, learning new skills is a big part of the fun.
 
150 plants , that can't be legal in any state.
the supplies you will need depends entirely on how you want to grow.
With that kind of space , you can do whatever you want.
How did your first grow come out ?
 
For the smell which can and will fuck you being that there is 150 plants, use charcoal filters, they come in sizes according to grow space. They ELIMINATE any odors not just cover up... I would invest a lot into items that can help in cloaking your operation. Watch the energy bill also, high kilowatt/hour usage raises red flags... Hate to sound paranoid but its the harsh reality any grower faces. Good luck and happy growing!
 
So, you're going to run 14,000 watts of lighting, an AC, 4 high CFM fans, timers, etc and you think no one will notice the outrageous increase in energy consumption? Have you done any searching? I mean that's at least 130 Amps... have you thought about electrical? You want to grow 150 plants and your wondering what ice cubes will do if placed next to a stalk? Give me a break...

yeah what he said . sounds like you need somw exp first , if i even owned 14x1000 watters i would know how to get rid of odour

but everybody says use how much you want and just pay for it , where do we draw the line ? 1000 watts per bed room is the common rule of thumb , but if you pay for use what you want .... i would
 
first you need an electrican (ull be blowing fuses like whoa if u just plug em in) and shit load of start up money- 150 pots 3-5gals each, soil for all that, nutes, temp gages, water purifyers, electric bills, rent.... its alot of work man and for a first grow not possible unless you have a VERRY exp friend who will be assising you the whole way. I guess its possible but not for you (sorry). Ide say take one or two of those 1000w and grow youself like 20 monsters, itle prb work out better and alot less work for you.

I have to agree with Dam .... No way can somone just say " Right i got some floor im gonna grow some nug's " ... OP .. Take time to get your head round it ( month or two ) In that time build yourself 4 rooms in your space ( 4 rooms in one big room kind of thing ) ... 7 lights in one room .. 7 in the other for flowering stage (12/12) ... If one room fails you have the other to fall back on .... and for seeding and vegging use another room (18/6 ) ...and another room for drying and cureing ( dark well ventelated ) ... Ok allready you can see that this is not gonna be easy .... wireing that shit alone is gonna cost a small fortune .. then equiptment on top ..... damn thats a shitload of cash layout ... a shitload of work ... It could be done ... but you really need to know whats goin on or you will be totaly out of pocket .

I go with dam's idea .... do a small scale thing ... if you have 7 months you can work up to something bigger and by then you will have some jedi skilz :)

of course not genius. not even cali's 215 allows a grow that big. This is a unique crunchtime situation where timing is everything and can be benificial for all involved.
 
Kinda helpful. thx. Ive read EVERYTHING by Jorge Cervantes, JC Stitch, and Greg Green. But with a grow this big i was jus looking for ways to cheat the overhead and squeeze out a tad more yeild. Im not a newbie i was jus trying to relate mindstate. any suggstns on organic vs chemical fertlzr/yeid let me now
