I'm going to be getting into that myself soon. I scored some Banana Kush seeds from a friend and I also got some Sour Bubble that i got form Mr and Mrs Bog them selves!!! I'm thinking about crossing the Bubble with LambsBread or Ak-47...but as my partner says " thats in the next chapter".

Amen!! i am way down with Free!!! lol That is another good thing about Ca. you can get legal clones delviered right to your door... luckily though my buddy has NL5 and many more mothers... we're getting into meesing with genetics too... hitting this NL5 with some Sensi Seeds White Russian Pollen that we have... well one branch that is.. to see if we can get a good high yielding cross with bomb genetics... never done anything like this before but have alway been curious...

hell yea, iv wanted to move to CA for years now lol
my state's laws are funky... no despenceries, 1 care giver per patient... no legal limit on how many plants you can have though, its up to the clinic.
but iv been wanting to mess with genetics also, been thinking if i get a NL male im goona mix it with AFF GOOEY and see what i get. white russian should be a good mix tho! and im sure you'll get atleast one good pheno outta her. keep us updated on how it goes! very interesting =]

Yeah i am way interested in crossing some strains and hell just to have something to say yeah i made that.. and if ppl don;t like i have no idea where it came from...lol yeah i would be interested to see how that cross turns out when you do that.... def keep me posted!!!!

lol yeah and i feel for you too if your on the east coast.... cool thing about the desert is at least it is a dry heat... maybe 30%-40% humidity... if you're back east i can only imagine what you're going through... got friends on Long Island and their hating it!!!!

Yea im in Michigan temps is getting up to 100 degrees with high humidity Im pushing my a/c hard. I hope it dont go out on me.

Yeah they just shut down over 400 dispencaries out here in Los Angeles and still have 170 or so operating legally.... and us Californias get to Vot to Smoke in Nov.. It's on the Ballot to make it legal!!!! can't wait!!!! Keep me informed on that strain your wanting to make...sounds like another one i'd like to try... will def keep updated though.. from what i've heard i need to do this in week 3 or week 4... anyone know exactly when pollen should be applied?

This state of the art Indica is the result of over 20 years of select inbreeding. Bred for vigorous growth, high yield, and superb high. A must for growers who prefer short bushy plants. The buds have an extremely frosted, resinous appearance and the yield is high.

Specifications: ~ Flower: 55-65 days ~ Height: 2-3? ? Sensi seed bank catalog

NL#5 is NL with another plant crossbred. Part indica, part sativa. Grows great outdoors, flowers quickly and has a pretty good yield. I know a few that have grown it. Call it the "Christmas tree" bud, the plant looks like one.. Thumbs up to it, it is a great strain. -V

I got NL#5 never had any problems with cloning, also if its real NL#5 (which is Pure NL) it has almost no smell at all which is great if ya grow indoors. The ones I've seen really fill out at the end of the flowering cycle, it sometimes looks like the yield will be marginal and then in the last couple of weeks--bam! I have found this with most indica strains, usually they do not fill out till the last 2-3 weeks of flowering. NL is a great indoor strain, one of my fav's too. -Unknown

I grew Sensi Seeds NL#5 and it was one of the best plants I had ever seen. VERY distinctive aroma and taste, I agree with Skunkman, its like a psychedelic couchlock, the buzz goes for loooong. Plus its one of the best indoor plants I ever saw, very short and compact, mega-phat top-cola, pretty fast (8 weeks), wont grow much longer after inducing bloom, excellent flower/leaf ratio. I had good 400 gr./s.m. which I consider nice. Only drawback I noticed was you better watch the air humidity, they have a tendency to catch bud rot, and the colas are just too fat and sticky so the air won?t go into. But when you keep moisture down to max. 50% rh. you should do well. To my experience they are truebreeding, but on the other hand I heard that too much inbreeding out of a small number of species might cause some problems and show up some indica aspects you may not want to have. I heard of NL#5 F2 that smelled and tasted like shit and had a very dull buzz. - Shuzzit

yea im excited to see how the vote goes! might just be the final kick in the ass i need to get me out there lol

but from what iv read, the right time to pollenate differs from strain to strain. this is just what iv read... not sure if its totaly true, but you want to pollenate after the buds start to form, and you start to see calyxs forming, but befor the hairs start to wither and turn red/brown. usually week 3-5ish.

again this is just what i have read.

I'm in D/FW and you get somewhat accustomed to damn heat. My 5 ton central A/C unit kicks in non stop around the end of June and runs just about 24/7 until mid September. The only weed dispensaries around here are tumbleweed. We'll be the last frickin state to legalize, they gave some dumb bastard 35 yrs. for possession in march this year. Right on Jdubb.... what kind of wattage you flowering under? Is this your first experience with NL#5? I'm wondering how long this strain flowers for... the person i got the clone from is telling me 10-12wks, is that true? Also have you done any cross breeding with this strain? I have started cross pollinating in week 4 of flower... just wondering if i am at the right stage for pollinating? Thanks bro!

Have one nug that i put White Russian pollen on, once last week and once last night so we'll see what happens... I'll take pics once i see progress...if any. Right now i have the ph runnin at 5.8 and 1357ppm.... Seems to be doing just fine!

I'm flowering under 400 hps this is my first time flowering nl#5 though I am on week 7 in flower I heard for a more couch lock high 10-11 weeks with this strian though the breeder rec. 8 weeks. I can see some cloudy and clear and a few starting to amber. I will have some pics up nexttime I go to water them for you.

How many you got under your 400W HPS? Yeah I am at week 5 and i just don't see how these could finish in just 3 weeks.. i am thinking i am going to have no choice but stick it out for the 10-11 wks... I am sure it will be worth it in the long run...
