anyone ever watered their plants with flavored water a week before harvest to get some extra flavor in their herb?

no, why don't you try it and tell us if it works? I do like the natural taste of weed myself ( i just got some nirvana haze 2day mmmm mangoey-sweet) but it would be an interesting experiment...

it has been done alot. really big back in the free love era. that is the reason why advanced nutrients created sweet leaf nutrient.

I have read about flavorings, I think it would be different they specifically tell you not to do it to all your crop, as you may not like it. They say when your ladies are ready for harvest about 3 hours before you get ready to cut down you water with a gallon of H2O, w/ STRONG CONCENTRATED EXTRACT you mix the mixture strong and water away 3 hours later you harvest. They say your plants are so close to the end of it's life cycle that all H2O given to the plant it will suck it all up taking it straight to the cola's, hence having the flavor in the water be in your BUDS, sound like a yummy treat to me. I may do strawberry or Anise on one of my plants. I will let you guys know how it turns out. GL:weed:

it's like putting ketchup on that porterhouse. why? your weed taste like swag?
No it does not taste bad. I like to switch things up sometimes, I guess it is kinda like those that like to smoke, and eat the herb, or like the times you would break out a flavored blunt wrap. I guess there has been times when weed has tasted like shit, but I'm sure it was one of those times I could not choose to be picky!....LMAO I'm sure we all have had a time or two like that. That is like adding moisture to some dry weed you may have gotten, if you are gonna rehydrate why not add flavor while the rehydration takes place?? I know that overly dried weed can give a bite when you hit it, the fruit you add to it to rehydrate chills the bite out of the weed. This I have tried and it works great!!

Amen to that my friend. I had to do this.. just today as a matter of fact. I couldn't pass up this great deal on 2 oz's. $75 for two ounces of "not bad" weed. Actually doesnt taste bad. But... I rehydrated the buds. In a vaccum sealed container. Pretty sweet container too.. its got a piece of thin black rubber around the bottom of the lide. So that when you latch the lid down.. its air tight inside. Keeps things fresh.. ya dig?
I actually use orange peels.. to freshen up buds off the street. Ya dig?

peace.

Yea, it can be done.. this does work. Try it out. :bigjoint:
