Damn fine looking girls u got there tam!! +rep to ya!! That bbq party sounds good!
cheers gumball, im very happy with them so far and i think im gonna stick with less plants but bigger yields in future, take a look back and see how big they were when i switched to 12/12 its nuts!!

thanks for the rep :)

Hey Tam, I chopped my last 3 Big Bang yesterday. Check it out.
im jealous !!!! how much dry weight are you expecting? they look tasty and i cant wait for mine

INcredible pics mate :-) .... Just look at that Trainwreck go! But all 3 are BIG, the colas are forming up nicely and the stems are thick enough to support a heavy yield :-) I bet you double the yield on that reveg compared to first time round, just comparing them to my old Purple Rhinos,( the last big yielding plants I grew) I'd say youre on course for a good couple of OZ's from each of those beauties tamjam :-) The best I ever did was 1 and 3/4 OZ's dry from one of my Rhino's under HPS, but your plants look bigger to me potentially :-) I got everything crossed here for a bountiful harvest for you mate, but the condition of those plants says to me that theyre going to fly.

re the weather, yes its real hot here, the village is filling up with daytrippers coming down by the coach full!!!! I stay away from the beach on busy times like this but I was over there with the dog at 8 this morning and it was beautiful and quiet over there, more like being down on the med with the sun sparkling on the water :-) About 6pm when it quietens down again we'll go over for a splash about :-)

Great grow mate.
cheers MS :) they really did go mad!! just under 6 weeks veg and when i put them into flower they were just a couple inches tall but nearly covering the 4.5 gallon pots. 6 ounces dry from the 3 of them would be awesome i cant wait :eyesmoke: all i have for smoke now is the stuff from the cuttings and its shit!! real scraggly stuff it is and tastes horrible but gets me stoned so thats all that matters but i cant wait to have prime buds again. im can see 100% that im gonna get a good 1.5 - 2 oz's from the reveg and i cannot wait to smoke some more proper SW buds again.

they are all on just flowering nutes now and i brought them all down stairs yesterday and showed the missus and she was gobsmacked!! she hasnt seen them in person for about 6 weeks so she had a shock, i have to be really carful getting them back up in the hatch to make sure i dont snap nothing.

hey i will show you some pics of the beach we go to throughout the summer it only takes 5 minutes to get to and is the hayle estuary, the water is totally blue and clear the sand is golden and its lush down there

hey just curious... what was your wet/dry weights. Did you weigh when cut and again when dry? just wondering..

I've always wanted to try BigBang. But, I've got two AK48's and one 'ice' plant going right now.. I have no room for another plant.

looks good either way.

peace.

Well I dont weigh wet buds (For what?) but I have a couple fat colas that are about 10-12 inches total and I was thinking I will get around a QP. I am still kinda in the experimental (and impatient) phase of my growing hobby so I have yet to get that 2 hit shit or monster harvest but I am having fun and getting better every time.

week 5 of 12/12

things are flying along lovely now as it did feel like it was moving very slowly, alot more development by the day now and these buds are gonna explode soon enough .they all look like they are moving at the same pace so i hope i can chop them all at the same time and make way for some new flowering plants as ive got my eyes on a couple other strains :eyesmoke:

I also found in an airtight jar a lady bird that my youngest daughter obviously thought she would keep as a pet lol so i set it free on my plants  i havnt got any mite problems but she sure looks happy up there as she was sitting directly under the light fluttering her wings, bless her little cotton socks !!

anyway here they are ( again quickly uploaded pics as im baked as hell :eyesmoke:

hey gumball it really is one big bush lol!! for watering i have x2 5litre water bottles that get filled up every 3 days and i use it all in one watering between the three, i fill them up in the bath tub which is in the top landing near the loft and then fly up the step ladder i keep in the hallway cupboard lol i love it :weed:

As far as temps go a few weeks ago it was hitting over 100 up there for a few weeks!! highest it hit was 107 one day and they all continued to grow perfectly. on most sunny days its hovering around the mid 90's.

WOW! Those are crazy temps!! Plants don't show it though :) you should look into solar powered attack fans. They don't cost anything on the light bill :) and will cool your loft a few degrees at least. I read a review on some a while back where a guy said it cooled the inside of the house by 2-3 degrees. Something to think about. I will go ahead and scare you away, sad :( the units I looked at which had good reviews were between 350 us for the 10 watt and like 800-900 cfm or 450 us for the 20 watt and like1500 cfm one. But they will help thicken the buds!

Lovely pics mate. Those plants are not showing a single sign of heat stress, infact they look like they're loving it :-) Just goes to show. I used to hit 95 in my loft in summer and the plants were fine, just carried on flowering normally........ it was just people telling me that the plants couldn't take it!!! cannabis grows in some pretty hot climates.

Loving that Trainwreck.

cheers for the info gum but i will just let them pull through it lol the weather has cooled down now and is gonna stay cool for a few weeks so all is good :p

cheers MS :-P i really like taking photos, these are taken with just a £180 sony cybershot nothing fancy, i think its down to about £130 now but these are the best it can do. cant wait to get the DSLR gonna take some sick photos then

weathers gonna be shitty for a few weeks now so temps are ideal now, will take some readings tonight and let you know what they are tomorrow

big bang is looking very promicing and looks like she will give the biggest yield and when winter comes again im planning on getting that little veg cab done properly with some HID power, carbon filter and a lock but make it just one cab and do a 12/12 from seed, plants can cope with the heat but the cold is the biggest problem and its horrible seeing cold plants as they look so unhappy

hey guys heres a pic of the mutant re-veg which has had some pinning down done to her and the AK48 seedlings both are still vegging under a 45w 6400k cfl in the veg box which i have now made into one chamber it took a couple hours to get light proof but ive done it now.

right i have been having some crazy overkill thoughts again!!!! how does 13,500 lumens per square ft sound to you? is it totally overkill or not? im planning fitting the 250w hps in this cab  i think i can do it with a cool tube and a couple fans exhausting the cab anyway its gonna be a project whilst the plants up stairs finish and another flowering cycle up there i expect then it will be two cold so i have alot of time to get this thing running perfectly

now let me know what you all think, im seriously thinking that with that 250 in that space will make some super fat small plants in there i may try a 250w MH as im sure they run a bit cooler.

actually i think its bigger then 2 sq ft, im thinking about 2.5 sq ft so that would make it around 10,740 lumens per sq ft.

and i also have to see if the 4 inch pc fan can handle the heat from the bulb pulling through it!!! we will see
