Did you happen to give it fert? I agree that it is way too hot up there, but am asking, because it looks like it could also be fert burn.

im havin similar problem with my seedlings at 90 temps, i think anything above 80 for babies is high

My seedlings grew slowly too in a room that was 94F at some points in the day. Now I can keep it below 90's and it's doing much better. MAKE SURE you're giving the seedling plenty of fresh air and circulation (fan). Stale attic air will not help the plant grow...

Alas. She did not make it through the night. Foul play is not suspected. I'm germinating again but this time I am going to build a proper enclosure so hopefully I can control the temps a little better.

Just a fan. I am going to build an open top tent with an exhaust fan pulling air in and an oscillating fan directed at the plants. I wish I didnt wait until the hottest part of the year to plant.

freash air in and exhaust out and you will be fine.. you will have to play with fan speeds to control the heat..
