Strange leaves growing from a killer plant

I've been trying to breed. I've moved them from inside to outside. I found I had several males and when a few females were real frosty I decided to shake the pollen off the males over the female. Then the female started growing these strange looking leaves. The leaves come out and don't have the classic ridges on the edges of the leaves. The leaves are smooth. Some of them have ridges but not that many. AND there is usually only one leaf per new stem....???? wtf??? It's almost like another type of plant is growing out of the old plant. Has anyone experienced this behavior before. Is this a normal part of the pollination process.

Nope, that is what happens when a flowering plant has been put back under the veg cycle lighting schedule. You're plant is re-vegging, the same thing happened to me.

i believe thes is right. i saw pics like this in the monster cropping thread. they took clones from a flowering plant and put the clones back into veg... and they said that it would grow leaves like this at first...

So, now that I know they're revegging, what to do next? Just keep watering and feeding as before and wait till they go back into a flowering state in October or November. I'm in the Bay Area, CA and wondering when harvest time is around here. Anyone know? By the way, thank you for your response. It was quite helpful.
Also, what's going to happen to the seeds that are growing on the plant now? will they continue to grow?
Is there anything I should be doing to help them along.
Also, I planted several seeds in the same pots as the rest of the plants and most of them came up, stretched, then died. Only one has survived and it's stretching like crazy. What causes this problem and what can I do to solve it?

I'm in the bay area as well and one of my plants is reveggin until I think around the middle/end of August when flowering begins and they start flowering again. Harvest time depends on the strain, but usually in our area, its around mid October-December.

I can't tell you much about why your seeds didn't sprout as there are a variety of causes such as the seeds not being matured fully or the strain being unsuited for the climate we have here (sativas don't do so well up here). I gather that the seeds you planted might have been sativas because of the stretching. From my knowledge, stretching happens when a plant isn't receiving enough light and so it stretches up towards the light source to help solve it's lack-of-light issues. There are some things you can do to slow the stretching such as supercropping, LST, FIMming, and Topping. There may be other things you can do but that's all I got

IME it's not a good idea to plant multiple plants in the same pots. They will fight for root space and nutrients and the smaller weaker plants usually suffer from it. Prob got a lot of stretching due to light issues as well. Once again, this is only in my own personal experience. good luck with the breeding

Yeah, it's regenerating. Depending on how much time it stays in veg you could end up with a load more weed. You could also end up with stunted airy buds.
