fan leaves falling off in veg

my leaves are falling off some are dried out some look healthy but just fall off at main stem, we have 100 degree weather and they r in a shed with 2 big fans pulling air into shed and in grow box with computer fans running. is it heat related or something else like not enough light getting to lower branches.

btw my soil is dried out every 2 days and seem to mainly affect bottom leaves
i tried a search on here and seem to just find it was about yellow leaves which isnt the case here they just wilt or fall off
i plan to move them to cooler spot tonight

100 degrees is really hot, that could be the problem. A far as I know nutrient wise, yellowing lower leaves in a nitrogen deficiency, but it also causes upper growth to be light yellow.

And with 100 degree temps, it could be even hotter in the shed, that coupled with computer fans as ventilation, you are asking for trouble.

it is i just checked outdoor temp it is 80 in shed with 2 open windows open and 2 fans drawing air into shed it is 90 now
im checking temp in grow box now and will update
i think i will move to storage area under the house where the rest of my grow is
it is alot cooler there
i didnt have this problem till this week i think i got a 1/2 oz of dried fan leave yield so far lol

Yeah that's hot. Not sure where you're at, but it is hot all over. I see a huge heat wave in the East. I live in Cali and we're expecting 105 + for the next few days. Even with my AC pumpin' all day it is like 78 downstairs, and 87-88 in my bedroom/cab. Damn, how do you grow outdoors?

Sounds like a good idea. I have a buddy that grows under his house and it stays nice and cool for him all day long. I would just say you should probably use the air under the house as ventilation, rather than ducting it to the outside.

thanks sparkabowl i got them all moved and they are now running at 75 degrees in the daytime versus last nights temps of 90 lol so the shed is a no go till maybe fall

Hey guys I have the same problem with my outdoor ladies, lower 1/3 fans leaves are yellowing and dropping off but new growth looks great, we've had some heat spells but only in the low 90's, they get sun all day and the late afternoon seems to be a real cooker for them, I watered this morning and I'm afraid of charcoal rot because I got last year, It killed 2 plants! Maybe the lower fan leaves are just falling off because they're getting ready to flower and they get full sun so they don't need them but I'm not sure! I have another patch facing due east and they are as green as can be, these are facing south, heat related?

hey sparkabowl i think it was mainly heat but the went almost 2 1/2 months of veg but if it bottom leaves fall off after age can i clone them before the fall off or can u can a fan leave
i mean it is just 5 leaves and a stalk?

No, to make a clone you need a branch with at least, but preferably more than 2 nodes of growth. When you make a clone you need to cut off a branch, and remove all the side stems with a razor blade leaving only the top vegetation. You then dip the bare stalk in rooting hormone and root in an enclosed dome. There are many videos on youtube and lots of info here if you are interested in clones, but no you cannot clone a leaf - ok maybe with tissue culture, but that's even more complicated.
