alcoholics don't have to drink every day its how they drink ,some only drink on holidays they are still alcoholics , coveing for him makes you an enabler

^I disagree... Drinking till you puke doesnt make you an alcoholic... If so then i must be an alcoholic 25% of the time... He said it had been about a month since he drank... Thats not bad..

Well if you only drink once a month or so then you probably dont have a high tolerance. When you have a low tolerance with anything it can be easy to over do it...
I mean if this kid was getting this drunk on a constant weekly basis then ya id def say the kid needs to re-assess his use of alcohol, but when its a very recreational thing i dont find it to really be a problem..

doing anything that would cause your death due to aspirating your own vomit ,i would concider a problem if you choose to ignore the signs its going to be a funeral instead of a hospital we see him at soon

hes 16 hes a lil guy and he hangs out with older bigger dudes so when he drinks his pride comes in ya know. where we drink a fair bit of hard liqer and are barley hrunk he drinks 6 beers and is blasted thats why he gets so smashed so easly . me personaly i dont drink weeds the way man

Like i said he's young so he has a low tolerance.. 10 times isnt that many.. I mean if was 10 times over a month period id say yeah thats a problem, but as the OP stated this had been the first time in a month. So the kid got alittle irresponsible, it happens to the best of us.. Like KizPhilly said, we have all been their before. If you dont drink or have never been a drinker you just wont understand. Its like trying to explain smoking the doobie to a missionary, they just dont know how to relate to it so its hard to understand..
Im not condoning having an alcohol problem im just saying he's a kid.. That shit happens, especially when you are really new into drinking.. i just say educate him on the dangers and let him live his life...

Alright i gotcha.. Ya know man i just think its a period most people go through, its easy to overdue it at that age.. Ya id def prefer to smoke any day over drink for sure.. But i do think alcohol is a nice release and its something that i def par-take on just about every weekend

No. If that were true, then about 98% of the people I know that drink were (at some point) alcoholics, according to your definition.
This is just a simple case of a kid getting drunk and out of hand because...well, he's a kid. Perfect example of why young people should steer clear of things like that.
