its been exactly a month frm today since i started them.. they're in a sitting in 3 gallon pot consisting of scotts potting soil, they're about 3 plants in total , 6'' tall and 2 are joined due to a crazy accident, they got bent! so i tied them upright and they seem to be thriving.. check my pics, they're frm today.. u just got one of my nutrients today; dyna-gro pro-tekt 0-0-3 and waiting for Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro (9-3-6) 8 Fl. Oz. to come... should i wait for till i have both? is it even time to add nutrients or can i add 0-0-3 now?

if u wanna feed 1/4 the recommended dosage is good to start off with. if they like it up the dosage very slowly.

yea, i was feeling the same thing.. they dont look to bad.. like i know i have to be patient and i dig that! but i just got to admit, that this shit is kind of fun! so i get a lil anxious, cuz i wanna grow some dope shit, ya know...

Yea, we all do. Thing is we love the shit a bit too much.
We get soil thats loaded with nutrients then add nutrient on top of that. From what I understand Scotts is the same company that makes Miracle grow and the mix is the same. Time release nutrients is when ever you water nutrients are released. If you over nute your plant in this soil you cant flush it because all you will be doing is releasing more nutrients.

Maybe what you should consider is to just water durring veg (unless they start to yellow) then add some flower nutes once you have drained this soil of the stored nutrients.

aight cool.. right now i have it getting good sunlight then i take inside and sit it under 3 CFL's but they are only 27w(100w equiv) so i'm not sure if they were stunting because not enough light or no nutes... but now i'm not sure if they're even stunted, its exactly a month today when i germinated the seeds and thay stand 6" tall in the soil..

All your doing is supplying additional light so they stay in veg cycle.
If you were not supplying enough light they would stretch. So if they look normal your cool.

The first month they are developing there root system this next month they are going to take off.
I bet they triple in size. you will be better off with about 300 watts of cfls surrounding them at about 4 inches away.

i hope so.. when you say 300w of CFL's you mean 300 real watts or the equiv's.. cuz unless i order them online, i only see 100w equiv which is really only about 27w energy used.. so i guess should buy enough 100w equiv's to total 300w? that would mean i would need atleast 11 100w equiv's to total 300w for real..

Well depends on how big you want them. Actually I believe the most energy efficent bulb is the 26 watt cfl.
With 300 watts of those you can grow 4 to 6 plants up to three feet or so. Sure there are several of them and they should be placed close to the plant. Thats why people go metal hilide. One bulb a couple feet away.

If I were going to finish with cfls I would build a screen over them and train the girls flat. search SCROG

I just went back and noticed you have 3 plants, then here is an idea, go to local hardware store and ask for a vanity light. cost around $12 It has 4 sockets in it. get two of them. Then buy 2 extention cords cut the ends off them and wire up each light. Put 4 26w cfls in each and hang them on either side of your girls.

You will be running about 200 watts of cfls at a cost of about $8 a month.
