What makes you so sure it's heat stress? How hot is it? Humidity? What type of lights? And, how far away from the plant?

I'm guessing it's a soil problem. What type of soil are you using?

Its about 30cm from the plant...and well im not sure on the heat but its winter my side but the odd day or two the sun still comes out and gets quite hot and that was the day it started occuring...im using metal halide.
The soil is a seedling mix i bought from the nursery...

Seedlings don't need that much light. Raise that light higher.

What size MH are you using?

Purchase a day and night thermometer and know the temps your working with but for god's sakes, raise that bulb

Ho my god this is a new born and she's almost dying! At this stage your seedling needs, soil, light, lots of moisture and a mild temp.

If your soil is fresh (not recycled), it is way too strong for your baby. This would explain the tips of the leaves drying out and flipping up.
Your plant does not need more than 200 to 300 lummens, keep your MH 4 feet from the plant.
Moisture is important but make sure not to over extend your kindness or your plant will rot. In any case monitor your ph, your leaves are kinda twisted.

Overall, I think the plant is stressed and will die soon or won't strive, too young to be on its own and the wrong environment. Start over and get some books!

Thanks people the help is much appreciated....

I have been reading books but never came across how many lumens it needed when a seedling and i had no trouble with seedlings in my cfl grow so i kinda didnt think much would go wrong

400w is WAY to much light for a sprout you need to use something along the lines of a cfl or 2. i think you should start over but, do a little reading first .

Back the 400 MH to 30"+ away, and you should be fine. The sun is well over 3000 lumens on it's worst day, and that isn't even taking spectrum into account. If it's not a heat issue, it's a soil issue. I'm still betting on a soil issue. As mentioned above, it'd be a really good idea to try a different soil, and start over again. :)

Metal halid Bulbs 400 watt you must keep them from 18 inches to 24 to 30 inches above the plant thats way over 34 cm above the plant ! Next off thats a baby do not introduce Nuts until its at least 3 weeks old. Make sure to feed your young one with one gallon of water ph at 6.5 to 7.0 with 2 or 3 drops of superthrive ! this isnt a joke if you dont take care of your baby she or he will die !

Ah dam i truly have been reading so much on cannabis growing and never once took note how far a MH light should be from seedlings.....always just saw that other people kept there lights about 1 foot away but that was on few week old vegged plants

Start over.... Get a bag of fox farm ocean forest and a bag of light warrior. Buy solo party cups and fill them half-way with a mixture of 60% Light warrior and 40% Ocean Forrest. I say halfway because they will stretch the first 2 days and as they do, you can keep adding soil til their is about 1/2 inch of stem above ground. Drill many small holes around bottom edge of cups for drainage. Moisten the soil fairly well but slowly by filling up a spoon(tablespoon) Make sure to get a mister bottle also Place the cracked seed pointy part down and cover it with soil so it is no deeper then 1/4" Get cling-wrap ( clear plastic wrap) and cut it into like 5 inch squares. Mist the square cling wrap you cut and place it over the solo cup you prepared. Take a rubber band and secure the cling wrap around the brim of the top. You do not need to poke holes. After the seed sprouts, leave the clear wrap on for maybe 2 days to make sure the seedling has all the moisture it needs. Make sure the keep the plastic wrap misted so it always has humidity. Consider day 1 the day the sprout pops through the soil, from day 1-3 you will most likely not need to water since the humidity domes will hold the soils water. After day 3 you can remove the plastic and let the plants grow like normal. At this point, the soil will dry out easier remember. Using this method, I have a 98% success rate with cracked seeds.

Your problems I can bet:
Water - Make sure you pick up some distilled jugs from the grocery store 4 or 5 will last 2 weeks and will cost 3-4 bux Try walmart as the Ph is almost always 6.2 from my experience. You can water right from the jug with no problems and ph adjustments.
Soil- Your soil is most likely too hot (with nutes), Ph is off (from 6.5), and it looks like it doesn't have good drainage Pick up the fox farm bags of soil I suggested. I promise you'll have success
Light- Simply too much light. Save the Mh for maybe 1 1/2 weeks in. Until then buy 2-3 6500K cfl's which can be placed about 3-4 inches above the plants. This ensures rapid growth with no heat stress chances from MH. After 1 1/2 weeks plants are plenty strong enough to have an MH say 2 feet away or even closer as you watch them adjust. Remember, its easier to put the light farther away and make them stretch rather put it close and watch them die from heat =O
Containers- Just me, but I hate those seedling trays which can hold 20 plants. I'd get solo or small party cups so you can watch each plant more carefully and maintenance certain plants easier. Also my plastic wrap humidity domes only work with solo cups haha

All I can think of and I wish you luck. If you get the things I listed, I will guarantee success!

Wow thanks for the decent reply man all that info is extremely helpful!:) I also found that the seedling tray was absolutely horrible and a big mistake.....

Anyway i will start using only distilled water and i got seedlings now under cfls which are looking a bit better...im not from america so there is no fox farm soil availible here unfortunatly so im trying to get the Biobizz All mix or any other good soil this side....i dont have any nutes in my soil btw the soil is actual seedling soil from a nursery so i didnt quite think soil was a problem because the other plants are doing fine in it and in my other grow drainage was not a problem but ill still keep an eye out

Thanks for all the advice tho^^

No problem at all ;]

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fox-Farm-Ocean-Forest-Organic-Potting-Soil-12Qt-Forrest-/120600624697?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c145b7e39

Only ebay person that sends ocean forest international 12qt though =/ and pricey shipn

And I understand about the soil, but sometimes marijuana is just very picky with its soil and the nutes of it and its PH. I went through two bags of nursery soil with no success and very light green bud plants with minimal growth. Just like yours appeared. What was odd was my marigolds, tomatoes, and coleus's all loved it and grew huge. I tested the soil's ph and it was waay off 6.5 and the ppm runoff was insane for so-called seed starting soil. I was disappointed. After switching to fox farm soils I've never been so happy. If you have any questions of any sort feel free to ask =D

I included a pic of my veg tent at about 1 week. I currently have Mandala Speed Queen + Hashberry, High grade seeds Avalanche + Electric Fruit punch, and some bagseed from an amazing sack lol I used my starting method and every seed that cracked in my paper towel is now growing great. No deaths. 6- 6500K Cfl's(started with 4 cfl's to reduce heat and stress) and only using distilled for now. In no time we will have you growing beautiful green pot plants =P
