Dang man that's pretty nice really. Cant wait to see the results. And about the CFL's I was thinking they wasn't what you said they were cause I have a 42 watt 2700k and its way bigger then those. It has more circle rings on the light. And those are 100 and 200 watt lights. But What ever they are there doing good.

since i changed my fans up and put a box fan in the closet they are running between 88-91...much better then the 101.i dont know why the cfl's are putting off so much damn heat.i wondering if when i put the light socket together if i hooked the wires up backwards..that might cause it to overheat...but at the same time its a lot of shit to take it all down, pull it apart, then nothing to show me if its right or wrong...cheap ass socket didnt even color code the wires

Heres what I would do You put 2 fans facing the plant then on the other side have 2 fans blowing the air out. that usually worked for me and it always stayed nice and cool like 81 82.

been there done that...its not the fans..it has plenty of air flow...the temps in the closet are staying 98-101..with the door to the closet open and a 24 inch box fan blowing in on it.ive got a high powered desk fan blowing in on all of it...then 2 cpu fans for intake and exhaust...thats the hassles of living in the far south.ive got the ac on 72..with fans all over the place and the whole house still stays a lil warm...its 100% humidity outside with temps at times going over 100..heat index around 105-108..hell just to try it out...i opened the grow box door...then duct taped the 24 inch fan to the front...temps didnt get lower than 87...and its a big ass high powered fan..was blowing the plant too hard..didnt lower the temps..so i changed it back

Yea its hard lowering the temp in the box when the temp in the room is so high. Is the temp in the closet around 82-83? If so thats probably about as good as your going to get it 88-91 under the lights..

I would honestly make both those cpu fans exhaust and cut a big passive hole for intake if you can sacrifice the light pooring out, thats the way I ended up keeping it and now working with a little box I can see that it does work very well. The only catch is the hole has to be about double the size of both the exhaust holes. Something to think about anyway, if its only a 4-5 degree difference I wouldn't worry about it.

thats what ive got now...but 1 cpu fan in and 1 out..with a 4 inch fan on the side of the box thats blowing in on the plant and the lights...theres no way to arrange them to make it cooler...the temps in the closet..with the fan blowing into it from the bedroom..stays 98-100..my only other option would be a ac unit....but with my power bill right now over 300 bucks a month..theres no way..id throw up a red flag in a heartbeat...in an area that they keep tabs on power bills..had a old dealer get busted that

I don't wanna be a party pooper but your Diesel Ryder doesn't look too good, she looks stunted & over-watered, maybe your soil mix is too dense as well? And as for those that have told you in this thread that she 'looks great' etc., she doesn't look very happy...just being honest with you bro.. I think you should maybe start again or transplant into a lighter soil mix, your plant looks suffocated

yeah i know that.. hence why i disagreed with them..and if you read the whole post you would know why...i fixed what was wrong with it now its catching up...and the soil mix is really light and airy...1/3 organic soil,1/3 perlite,1/3 peat moss...it was the peat pellet it started in that fucked it up...now that the roots have room..since it hasnt been that long since i transplanted it..its having to catch up

Yes it looks a little sad but those of us that have been following from the begining can see an improvement and I bet it will only get better with time.

I can see where your coming from just droping in and looking at the very last picture but the plant is still healthy and showing growth so why suggest to start over? That just doesn't make much sense to me.. Specially since he just popped a road runner and doesn't have much space..

One of my SR's where droopy from the begining and still grew 2 ft tall and perked up..

Just adding some constructive critsism to the mix.. I see that you got root bound early on.. my bad, I did over look that.. just thought she looked a bit stunted for three weeks.. Hey, I'm a toker, it's Friday night & I missed a post or two sorry for the confusion..I only said what I said coz they only have a short lifespan & don't have too long to bounce back from being mis-treated, I'm sure you will nurse her back to health.. Feel free to pick bones at my grows guys, I am always open to suggestions & new ideas

ok..guess im going to count this as day 1 for the roadrunner..im gonna do day to day pics with this one.im also getting tired of the diesel..think im gonna transplant it..not that it needs a bigger pot..but i think its rootbound still in the pellet net..gonna try and remove all the soil i can and try to get the net off..going to put it back in with my old soil...cant hurt...dont see it being anymore stunted then it already is.think i might take some pics as i do it...for future reference.

ok..gonna start today first with the diesel ryder..and damn what a difference in a days time...first pic is from yesterday...right before i pulled it out of the pot..dumped out the unused soil..i shaked the rootball around and knocked off all the soil i could...put some fresh NEW soil in...put it back in the same pot.used no perlite this time and added in mg soil.....

the first pic is yesterday...old soil...the second pic is today...new soil
