i highly doubt you know people getting letters for copyright infringement. smoke another joint Mr. Paranoid ... I have been using torrents for years and I seed over 12,000 songs and 50-60 movies.

Yeppers, I have. Two in fact. One was from Universal and the other was from Weinstein. They sent an email to my ISP and was then sent to me. My ISP didn't actually threaten to cut me off, but the movie studios 'suggested' that I should be. Movie studios do monitor the IP addresses sharing their material. Not sure about record labels though. I've since solved my security issue and I recommend others do as well if you plan on sharing copyrighted material.
