No No fdd I promise I get it. ALL MAGIC IS FAKE! But because it is on tv...doesn't always mean it's complete bullshit even though it is bullshit. I am sure as shit he'd love to do it right in front of you with NO cameras. But you have the inability to enjoy things it seems. I mean do you like david blaine? Or copperfield? Or are you here to just shit on EVERYONE and say all magic by your definition of "real" or "fake" is all fake bullshit...cause hey dude we already know that....it's ALWAYS a trick...be it in front of a live crowd with no cameras or a tv audience. The stuff you see on TV, is definately fake. But NLP is as legit as it comes. I have friends that are really adept at it, and I've went to the store with my friend and watched him walk out of the home depot with a $400 chain saw by making the casheer forget he was supposed to pay for it.

Exactly, that is "magic", telling the cashier in advance what the gig is, and then recording it, or have people watch as you perform a pre-meditated and planned "trick" is not magic, that's just acting, as fdd said, there's no "how did he do that? it ust be magic" (the whole idea of magicians is you are meant to think they've just performed some crazy magic) not "oh, the girls were obviously jsut in on it.

The day I see someone shoot flames out their eyes to light up my blunt, is the day I will truly believe in magic...
when i see a clip of chris angle doing a trick on the street and the people act all surprised about it, then i come to find out the people are in on the trick, it's lame. it's NOT real "magic".
there are "real magicians" out there. then there is hollywood.
todays magicians aren't doing magic.
magic is about slight of hand and decieving the mind. it's not about turning off the camera so you can walk the elephant away.
