see, i believe, if ur gonna grow a strain(that u have multiple seeds of) your better off to grow all of the seeds. that way you don't run the risk of sitting on the "gem" of the batch, its all about pheno man, more seeds you start the higher chance of getting the best pheno for yield, taste, potentcy, bag appeal, etc, etc... im currently growing out a 6 pack of og#18s' and headband from Reserva prevada, i dont want to have the best plant in seed form sitting in my safe. Anyone else agree with me on this? i also got 2 sour cream from attitude for free and have those going side by side, and both are completely different phenos, in the long run ill eliminate the duds of the strains and only clone and grow the "True Winners"

as for magnus i haven't grown them but i read a very good article in weedworld issue 72, after reading it i decided im going to start the 2 free seeds i got from attitude.

another little tidbit is rocklock from DNA genetics has warlock in it, i grew 1 of those a few months back i was really impressed by it, and i don't think DNA would use shady genetics to breed with...just my thoughts

Agree. I grow perpetual, I always germ all the beans I get when I get them. I wanna find the "keeper" of each strain I grab and grow only the best pheno/phenos of each strain.....Attitude sent me the wrong freebie and I was bummed too, until I grew her and took clones, at least 8 generations later DNA Genetics Hashplant X Haze remains in my grow. Love the buzz and cantalope flavor, yum

As far as Magnus goes, there is plenty of info to be found w/ a quick search on Google. Seems like decent genetics to me, maybe you just got a bum pheno?

Often the freebies from these seed resellers are older material, nearing their expiration date. They would rather give them away as freebies than throw them in the trash. MOst freebies I've gotten over the years can't compare to purchasing fresh stock at full price from reliable breeders.......
