while Rollitup "claims" that there server is in maryland, because that is a legal mj state, the server is really in az. This is easily verified. Call godaddy and ask where there servers are located. I have.

If you do a whois, you'll see godaddy mentioned, and "domanins by proxy" which is a godaddy only product.

You (as the owner of a site) can easily alter the results of a "whois" to some degree, hence rollitp claiming to be in maryland.
But...ALL godaddy servers are located in arizona.

This makes a serious security threat for all members of rollitup.org.

I just thought you all should know your security and privacy is in danger while visiting this site.

just curious, but why is this more of a threat than if the server was from Maryland? Dont they need a warrant to turn over IP address either way? Not that I have anything to worry about, I hate weed and would never grow it. GOP rules.

there are thousands of growers on here and no one has been reported caught from this sight, there would be a hella lot of posts of people getting caught from this sight if it really happened. sounds safe to me. No. Police do not have the money nor resources to launch an investigation of this kind. Imagine how much money it would cost. Man hours, forensics etc. For what? to get a guy probation for 6 plants in his attic?

I've been here since almost the beginning and have posted numerous pic's. i know that if I get caught it'll be through no fault of this site.

I mean they couldn't even be really sure that i'm not just a blagger anyway. i can't see the old bill getting a warrant for somethinglike this... even if they traced you. There are laws, and with things like searching your home they must have a warrant.

thats exactly right. Its not what they know, its what they can prove. And last time I checked, posting bud porn on a website wasnt probably cause for a search. Feel free to prove me wrong. Thats why you see people with things that say like "Everything I say here is a lie." Its so it cant be submitted in court. Not that it ever would.

It is a computer that sends/recieves data for another computer this way the computer receiving data is hidden behind the other computers IP address. Their servers with all data are in Maryland and their proxy servers are in whatever state you said..
