Im still trying to figure out why so many people are growing autos outside? They do best with 18+ hours a light a day preferred 20/4 yet so many of you in the lower 48 do them outdoors. I know it takes longer but why not grow real plants outside and ur autos inside where they will do better? I bought autos for an outdoor grow to but i live in alaska so with 20-22 hours a daylight a day and then when that starts to change freezing in like one month autos have to be grown outdoors here. Was just wondering why so many people choose them for outdoors instead of reg plants in places where they can grow MONSTERS man wish i could grow some reg 2lb plants, im sure people just do it cuz they finish faster, but thought id ask

Nice line up. I've ordered twice from them already and had my seeds within 10 days, always used real name, card and guaranteed shipping. I picked up a shirt this time too, hope it's different than my last one..

Thanx...Good to hear with in 10 days.I ordered from Nirvana last time and they came in 5 days.Decided to go with Attitude to get my Nirvana seeds this time,because of the Freebies.

I think most people grow autos outdoors when having 2Lb monsters is not really an option. I would say that a field of 100 autos would hide better than a dozen 8 foot monsters any day. Not just that, but LEO is not usually looking for plants till around this time of year and later. If you put some autos out in April or May, you will be pulling them by July at the latest when everything else outside is still green and they still blend in.

With non auto strains, by the time your babies are fully ripened and ready to be cut, almost everything else around it has started to die off and turn brown/yellow/red, leaving your monsters sticking out like sore thumbs. Plus if you have a good spot to grow, you can get 2 to 3 harvests by using autos.

Now if I had some land that I knew no one would ever find, and I knew I didnt have to worry about choppers (which no one REALLY knows), then yeah I would grow some 1Lb or better plants. I have grown and sampled multiple autos and of course other non auto strains, and I have come to the final consensus that autos are still lacking a little punch, but nothing like it used to be. In fact, I can really only tell when I have some of both at the same time.

But to sum it all up, here are the main reasons for growing autos outdoors versus a non auto strain:
-Height (autos usually dont exceed 2-3 feet outdoors)
-Stealth (height along with early harvest ensure the plants will blend in better)
-Time (2 months to harvest outdoors can mean multiple harvests or one nice quick, early harvest)
-Early signs of sex (Its easier to grow plants for 2 weeks indoors then transplant vs. a month or more with non AF)

plus theres super autos aswell they can grow like 5 or 6 foot outdoors

The reason I grow my auto's outdoor, is because i can get around 13 hours of direct sunlight, probably more powerful than the 10 cfl's i currently own now.

well said everyone ;) all good reasons that my stoned ass could never think of guess the main reason is cuz i want to grow a monster outside so bad and cant here lol to each his own and i have to admit autos packing a punch now least this 60 day wonder is

hello peep im growin fast bud and they seen to strech very easyly my 600w hps is only like 17inchs from the tops and they still seem to be streching has anyone els found this whos growin it? thanks:cry:

Yeah my other reason for outdoor is that the lights from my house and if I turn on my back porch light would mess with reg plants. I dont see why I would grow autos inside. With reg plants I have complete control of the size and training. Plus CONSISTENCY and cloning. Not to mention quality. But definitely vegging my autos inside next time to beef em up.

I'm also growing the auto nl's. I planted 5 seeds, now have 3. They sprouted July 1, really didn't start flowering till about a week ago. I will have to post up some pics they are about 27" tall and very bushy!

I am currently not able to grow indoors, thats the main reason I have autos outside. I was hoping the autos would have been done by now, that way I would have something to to toke and watch my other babies. Acunnamatta

Jock and Bubbilicous are 7 weeks into flowers, I think... Meaning they started showing white hairs on Jun 21. The NL started showing about 5 days later.
