Hasn't happened to me. I can't tell you what made his plants hermie. And light isn't the only other factor that can bring on hermaphroditism. Variances in temperature, humidity, ph of water, ph of medium, nutrients IE anything that can shock or mildly shock a plant. Especially during flowering. If you have everything optimal and the only contributing factor you can possibly think of is the fan, I don't think I could agree with you. Now that someone else has agreed with you, just forget about it.
