Well I was just checking on my girls and seen a mysterious white spec on a leaf, I was smoking a doob so I figured it was a piece of ash. I blew on it and it flew away.....literally. Ive spent like 20 min looking over my plants for him so i could interrogate him but no success and no sign of larvae or damage.. Nothing.... I need a good recipe to keep this guy away. +REp

Well I only seen this one and now I dont see it at all....plus I keep a close EYE to my plants and their undersides and never seen anything suspicious. Theres no leaf damage or nothing. I hope its not white flies but need a good recipe because I begin flowering next week.

Neem oil is something ment to be used throughout to prevent and resist pests and mold. It doesn't work like a checmical insecticide or fungicide, so if you spray your plants it won't give you instant dead bugs. It interrupts the life cycle of the insects. You can use it up to the 2-3 week of flowering, much past that and I would advise against it as the extra moisture may work against you as the buds grow larger. To use it, just mix 1 tablespoon of neem oil per gallon of water and mix in liquid dish soap a couple drops at a time. Your final mix should be milky and you should see no oil floating on top, and no suds from the soap. Pour that into a spray bottle and give your girls a good drench, then shake them off a bit.

Intensive, they don't scare em away, they eat em. Atleast the ones worth eating. They don't eat smaller guys like gnats and white-flys, unless they are tiny spiders. SBS, you are very welcome. I'm glad I was helpful. If you're still concerned you should start now since you've got so little time until flowering. 3-4 weeks of treatment is better than none. Try to get at it every other day, or more often if the plants take it. If they don't like it much just space it out more. I've never had any problems using it given the rest of the environment is up to par. But like I said, only through the first few weeks of flowering. You can go with it longer into flowering if you decide it doesn't pose a mold threat, but like any other water based solution sprayed onto your plants it will increase the risk. Even though it's supposed to prevent mold/mildew. It's not optimum to add your nutrients to the mixture, incase you wanted to foliar feed with the same solution.

thanks again buddy

I find that one good small spider with it's web placed just a pubic hair away from my girls keeps most small critters away, no spraying and the arachnid is way cheaper than chemicals.

Buy if you must but most any garage type spider will do and they're free. They seem to appreciate the new digs/grow room, quite the step up from the dark shed/garage :)

Movin up in life huh...lol well that sounds good. so what the other bugs see the web and just automaticaly know better than to try anything sneaky? I dont want a bunch of spiders buildin webs on my plants though.

Me neither! The second it tries to lay eggs it goes back to the barn, can't let the little bastards take over like illegal aliens! Next thing, they'll want their youngins to be seen as citizens of my grow room.
