K some background here, I attempted to start growing a month ago and didnt know shit. I killed 4 out of the 5 fem seeds I got from Nirvana. And this is the only one left standing.

Its going to be 4 weeks from sprout tomorrow and I feel its underdeveloped. Im concerned about trying to get as much as I can from the yield as quick as I can, as I was just let go from my job last week.

Here are some pics I took today, Picture updates may come once a week as I had to cancel my internet due to lack of funds.

Secret Jarden DR 60
400w MH (only been on for 4 days, 300w equiv CFL before that)
Ebb & flow
18.5 / 5.5

Nutes:
GH Maxi Grow 10-5-14
Floralicious plus 2.8-0.8-0.02
Current PPM: 750
PH: 5.5-6.5 (I dont have a meter I have drops, I allow to drift slightly before I fix)
This plant suffered air pruning for 5 days before I was able to identify and fix the problem. ANY advice as how to encourage faster growth would be wonderful!

Sorry about the pics being upside down and sideways i'll work on that for next update.

Wow, that plant is doing some crazy gravity-defying growing there. Na but seriously, turn those pictures to the right position before uploading, makes it easier to take a look at.
Some advice: If youve got only one plant, and especially if money is tight, dont run your 400w light for veg. Use some CFLs, theyre enough for veg. 400W can cost you 50$ a month on electricity, use 100W of cfls and you save 75% on your bill and have similar results.

I actually dont have a program to do that at the moment and Im using wifi from a fast food joint* pun intended.

I will make sure all updated pics are correctly orientated. Sorry again.

Just right-click the picture on your computer and click on "preview". Then, among other things, there should be two icons with arrows, one turning clockwise, the other counter-clockwise. Those will turn your picture to the right position, no program needed.

These are pictures from this morning and last night. Yesterday she was 30 days old. I propagated for 10 days (really didnt need that since I failed at the way I did it and caused air pruning of her roots for about 3 days).

So she is about 21 days vegging I am sorry about my pictures in the start of this journal but here are some correctly oriented.

I performed FIM on this little lady less than 48 hours ago haven't seen any real results as far as upward growth goes (I'm guessing that will halt for the next couple days).

She has bushed up the side leaves are starting to grow side leaves now, interesting being my first grow I didn't think that would happen. Anyway here are the Pictures.

I'm interested in taking some clones. I've read on how to do it and have a pretty good idea how. I am wondering if I plan to take about 4 clones should I take em now so when I'm ready to flower her I can throw 3 clones in and grow the last as a mother for future clones. Or since I FIMed should I wait another week before I take clones?

Will this increase my final harvest?

Today nothing special just adding some pictures to my grow. Since I last posted she has grown to a top height of 5.5 inches although she looks to be 6 its just from leaf extension. I also noticed some splotches on her leaves I believe this to be some sort of Nute Burn. I was running the PPM at 750 but topped with distilled water than PH corrected it. Dropped the PPM's down to 680 I have not noticed an increase in the damage since then but just to be sure maybe someone could chime in with what they think it is. I'm sure Ill add in more water and drop the PPM a little more tonight.

Oh man the side leaves are going crazy stretching to get to the light. After I FIMed I thought she would really grow to much more vertically but as you can see she has. Also my new tops are starting to develop and expect them to be in full growth in the next day or so. Back to the side leaves, they are growing side leaves, its like I have little blackjack plants growing out of my main blackjack plant and the little ones have little ones growing out of them!!!

Sorry its my first grow and Ive never actually seen this, im just amazed!

So if anyone could please just throw some input in, and let me know what you feel the damage is on the leaves and if I have handled this correctly. Im looking to take some clones on tuesday and then start flowering the following tuesday. Hopefully she will be 10 inches by then or close to that. Thanks for reading and helping!

not to thread jack at all just want to show a comparison mine is about 4-5 days younger than yours and at 5 inches tall now .... hopefully she will grow out a little more. Im thinking about moving the light away so she stretches out a little bit. It sprouted around 7/25 and been on 12/12 from seed

Huh. 12/12 from seed and it isn't flowering yet? Are yours blackjack? What kind of light? And what kind of nutes?

LoL I don't feel thread jacked, I welcome the comparison, it helps me see where I am and the direction I may be headed.

I took some clones yesterday morning I cut, I dipped I put directly into medium. (I had read on cloning but never done it)

I did it two ways, I took 4 cutting total, 2 in shot glasses and two in rock wool.

The two in the rock wool were just pushed into 1 inch cubes and put in a tray with a clear lid under a cfl.
The shot glass cuttings were put in shot glasses filled with PHed water and some clonex in the water as well. They were placed on the window ledge and left all day (misted 3 times).

After the one night the ones on the window looked super dead and the ones in the tray look great. So I read a little more on cloneing and I find out you have to trim em up! So I trim the ones in the shot glasses get rid of all the extra leaves except the tops and 1 fan. Then decide to put them in some rock wool and put them with the others. I trimmed up the ones already in rock wool as well and now about 7 hours later they all look great!!

I'll be posting pics and an additional update with the main plant! Thanks for reading and comments and questions welcomed.
