Alright guys so this is my first time growing, didnt do as much research as I should have. My plants were started to late and if I would have started them earlier, they would have had preflowers when it was time to flower, but since I didnt, she had to mature first, then flower, which took alot longer. I could have started covering her up for 12/12 awhile ago, but I didnt know that and she was to big at the time I realized.
So I have a plant that might have to be harvested a bit early. She is in her first week of flowering, and there is only 3.5 weeks until first frost. Tonight its pretty cold out. She has slight purple showing up on her stems. I think she will be able to flower for around 4 weeks until first frost, then after that she will have a greenhouse around her, in hopes of extending the season a minimum of 2 weeks at best. Im hoping I can flower her for atleast 6 weeks total. I hope she is a faster finishing strain.
So my question is, even if I have to harvest early, can I still get some decent, good tasting pot that will get me stoned? I heard if I dry slow enough and cure long enough I wont get a grassy smell or taste, Id like to cure for around 4 weeks. Thanks.
