Nutrient Issue or Bugs?

This is a reoccurring problem now. My last crop had the same problem, which progressively got worse over time.

Using the entire GH line and this latest crop is 3-1/2 weeks into flower. It is starting to show the same signs as the last crop which eventually had all of the leaves die or get completely spotted up (but I was still able to harvest a decent sized, though dried out crop). I thought I was overdoing the nutes on that crop so I lowered this one down to under 900PPM.

I have seen some critters in my garage, but not in the separate room I built for flowering. Well, I haven't seen those particular bugs, but there were some dead knat looking bugs floating inside some water in the flower room. I have checked the leaves under a microscope daily and have not seen a single bug on the plants. So other than these knats, I havent seen anything in the room.

Like I mentioned, I am using the entire GH line (Gro, Bloom, Micro, Floriliscious, Blend, Koolbloom, Nectar) as well as Cal-Mag (maybe I am overusing this) in R/O water.

I believe this is the result of some sort of an infestation and I have some Doktor Doom Pyrenthrins bombs, but I want confirmation before I go poisoning the air in my grow room. Maybe it is just some sort of a nutrient issue that I am overlooking?

BTW - IF I do release these bombs in the room, should I cut off the air pumps to my DWC system while it is being released? AND should I do it with the lights on or lights off?

That does not look like insect damage but rather some type of problem with the nutrients or bad genetics. I would not resort to Doctor Doom at this point. The problem is either in your system or nutrient levels. I would try going without all the other stuff for a while and see if using just the Grow or Bloom (are you using Flora Nova?) may help. My first suspect would be the Cal/Mag. It looks like metals are building up in your leaves. Remember the rule - First, do no harm.

Mate im 98% sure thats nute burn...900 ppm is 1.8 EC and thats high for any grow..If i were you i would flush your medium then dont give them any food at all for a bit and let it use up all the nutes that are within...then go stready with the nutes mate.

Too much Cal-Mag? With everything else (the GH line) I go with about 1/3rd (or even less) strength of what they recommend, but with the Cal-Mag I have gone with close to the 5ml per gallon they recommend on the bottle (I read somewhere that I was supposed to). So I guess I will pull back on that a bit. Maybe cut it in half??

It's definitely not the genetics though, unless 5 strains all have the same bad DNA. lol

I have kept it UNDER 900. As low as 600 even. And for flower, that doesn't seem high at all OR does it? Either way though, I will flush it.

5 ml per gallon is the standard dose if you have Calcium or magnesium deficiency. 10 ml per gallon for a super dose.

Ahh OK, then I am confused. Thought you were implying that I was using too much Cal-Mag and burning the plants. I have been using 5ml per gallon the entire time. R/O water. So perhaps this is being caused by something else.
