My personal opinion is it depends on a million factors and unless you know what you are doing and are really good at it you will not yield a pound of anything off your first grow. It is experience and strain.

Couldn't have said it any better. Don't beat yourself when your first grow doesn't meet your expectations. If you keep at it you will learn the tricks of the trade pretty quick. Keep asking questions and you will learn a lot faster. For your first grow if you manage to get 1/4lb from each plant, your off to a good start. In some of your pics were you standing on a ladder or something? Some of the pics look like they were taken from from above. Just remember the only stupid question is the one that is never asked..

yeah haha i was. but if people are yielding a half pounf from 3 foot plants, doesnt it look like i could possibley get a pound?
Getting a 1/2lb from 3 footers happens all the time..... from people who have grown from many years. Depending on where you are growing (indoors, outdoors, physical location if growing outdoors) there are many factors that come into play. Not every strain responds the same to the different grow environments. If you keep at it your yeild, and quality will increase with each grow. Start a log of everything you do when you are growing. Try and record as much info as possible during your grows.

Being your first grow, the plant looks great! However, it's VERY doubtful your going to pull a pound off that plant. 6-8 0z would be a good bet of good, dried, trimmed bud. I've seen a lot of new growers get discouraged the first time, cause they don't get what they thought, or what they wanted. Nice plant, good job, enjoy what you get and be happy with whatever it is. Just so you know, I have pulled 1.5 pounds on a 2 footer, and had a 16+ footer that didn't yield a pound. Lots and lots of variables.

Haven´t you posted this before? I don´t think this will get a pound, doesn´t seem to have sufficient large branches that will produce colas.

Maybe this one will:

I will be surprised if I don´t get an ounce off of each branch.

I'm sorry, but if you got an 8 footer and aren't getting at least a p, you should retire... It isn't even a challenge... Been a medical grower in Canada for years.

My friend, expect a half p minimum from the average 6 footer. If you aren't pulling that off, like my boy said above, 'check your shit'. I don't mean it personally, ANYBODY can grow weed, but only so many can actually GROW...

I agree it takes and experience.... So for the experienced, you should get a HP no problem off an 8 footer. I got almost 2 off all of mine.

One word of advice... Your girl is in a corner, thus not enough light to give you the weight I'm talking about... Light, water, oxygen, and nutrients, the key elements you need to master.
