Problem with a few ladies!

I have a couple plants with a problem i cant see to diagnose. The older leafs have the most damage and it is slowly creeping up. Both plants are in there own buckets and get fed differently on different days. have a small area to grow, 5.5ft max at the bottom of the light (2X 400w hps). The lights havent been a problem because this is going into my 6th grow and these problems havent come up until this time. The temp in the room is a constant 78 and varries slighty by 1-2 degree's. Plants are 5 weeks into flower and im using Advanced nutrients, 2 part Sensi bloom, B-52, Big Bud, Overdrive. PPM i havent learned fully yet so what ive done is use the Nutrient calc from there web site and mixed according to what they suggest. Also it media is rockwool with hydroton (Hydroponic/bubbleponic). Once again ive been doing it this way for well over a year and none of the plants have done this until now. Also im not using filtered water (But like i said was never a problem till now) I have plenty of air stones Etc. If you look close at the leafs they have small black specs but arent bugs... Ive also noticed that both plants have slowed in both grown of the plant and the bud. Is it possible its a disease? but how could it affect both plants in seperate res's?

in the first pick it looks like there is gray blotches which could be mold.if you see more gray patches goto a hydroponic store and ask for some Serenade to kill it .you could have nutrient burn i would flush them.different strains react different to nutrients even if it worked well for other grows.your lights could also be to close to your plants

For anyone who was even the least bit interested, Thrips was my problem. Thank you Skyhi for posting.
I could see how some aspects of your problem could be thrips, but did you see white spots on the lesser affected leaves? If not, I don't think its thrips, but I may totally be wrong.

what did you use to get rid of them??
Neem oil is the typical treatment.
