I am almost done with my first INDOOR harvest and it looks to be a good one but my question is whether its better to just hang my whole plant and dry with the root mass it then trim it or to cut the buds into long stems and hang them? Ive only ever hung the whole plant with previous outdoor grows, just looking for some advice.

I'd cut it into smaller pieces, dries faster that way.

agreed...it all depends on how much work you want to do later in the process, but i definitely wouldn't leave the root system in tact...
