Is It A Waste Of Time?

hi everyone

im new to growing and i need alot of help. i have one hydroponic system goin with og kush strain. and another og kush strain in organic soil. i resently found out a way to produce co2 with the famous active yeast and sugar and warm water trick. im running on a flourescent light set up with bat gwano to helpp the soil plant.. is the yeast and suger worth the time and effort... any extra info to help me out will be really helpfull thanks....

I think the c02 will make it stronger and healthier some is better than none.

so co2 set up is not worth the time. i read the set up in hightimes suppose to put out co2 for plants

Not to say he is not legit but its hard to take advice from someone who has 15 post and no plants growing or grown out.

CO2 is tricky to work with because the room needs to be pretty well sealed which is difficult for a lot of grows because of all the exhaust needed to keep the room/cab cool. Even though CO2 is heavier than air, the suction of exhaust fans will cause much of it to go "up the chimney."

keep room sealed off??? and yea im staarting to get the idea for the word tricky ever since i started this co2 project i have read nothin but negitive things about it i just want a way for my o g plants to grow to the fullest potential....

...in order to properly use co2 and to reap the true benefit, your room needs to be optimal....meaning, optimal light, optimal temps, optimal fertilizers....then one should keep the room @ a 1500ppm during all daylight hours (lights on). I use a propane bruning co2 burner w/ a co2 monitor to maintain my co2 levels....co2 takes alot of bells and whistles, which are expensive toys....noobs should always learn to grow w/o co2 before invest'n all the cheese. The yeast and sugar method has been ruled out as an adequate sorce of co2 from all my readings....it's going to take the, "real deal" to do it foreal. Good luck.

so grow first with out it then invest in the real deal???? i thought why go buy it when i can make it for free with house hold materials... but i wanna take the time and spend the money to do it right and not take the easy way out...

...it's always good to experiment, no matter what.....keep in mine that Co2 can also harm your plants if the ppm raises too high....a monitor is important.

The yeast and sugar will produce co2, no doubt, but this seems like beating a dead horse if you can't keep the ppm @ 1500. I still say experiment some with it though, just so you'll know, it's unlikely that the yeast/suger will produce enough co2 to harm your ladies....but if you ever switch to bottles, or burners...be sure to get a monitor or it could get ugly.

...sure, what your looking for is a co2 monitor, mine also has the solar panel that detects light to control your co2 production according to your photoperiods.
