I'm using a 3" net pot. I'd definitely recommend a PPM meter! The one I use is HM Digital TDS-4 and I have no complaints so far. I payed $27 for it on Amazon. I wish my pH was as stable as yours
. I've seen fluctuations anywhere in the range of .1 to 1.0 in a 12-hours time period. I guess that's what I get for using a 2 litre reservoir! Heh.
Here's an interesting observation: My plant appears to be growing in the direction of the one 30W 2700k CFL I have in the case instead of straight up into the 125W 6500k. Even the leaves appear to be "tilting" in the direction of the 30W. Is this an indication of the type of light the plant is using more? Should I just bag the 125W/6500k in favor of 4 more 30W/2700k? I've read a couple times that autoflowering strains don't have a vegetative stage, but it was my general impression that they DO have a vegetative stage, it just comes to an end automatically after 2-4 weeks depending on the strain. Could the observation that my plant appears to be growing in the direction of the flowering light be evidence to support the no-veg theory?
I would appreciate some clarification if someone has a more technical idea of what's going on! I'll also post some pictures later tonight illustrating more clearly what I'm talking about.
