alright just a little info beforehand:
Unknown strain (got from good bagseed)
unknown dirt (got from grandmas garden)
Miracle grow bloom booster fertz
92 watts of CFL
day 84 total day 49 since 12/12
i began by wrapping the main stem around the rim of my pot. i only got about 45 degrees around the pot tho, then i just started tying down lower branches and let the main cola grow up to the light. so here is my baby.

yeah i've also heard alot of tri ploids end up being male
im really excited to see how these buds will fill in
it's my first time using a hps so im hoping for some dense nugs from this one
im not expecting a huge yield from this little thing but quality will be a must

well hope for the best and expect for the worst is my motto, that way i dont get disappointed but i havent yet.
and yes quality is every thing to me

That's bark mulch that I use to keep the top few inches of soil from drying out. I'm using a soil mix that I buy here in British Columbia(home of B.C. Bud). It has been formulated to grow the sacred herb and although it's expensive, it sure does the trick. I grow organic and am using a formula made, again, here in B.C. that, again, does the trick. I smoked a tester one week after stopping ferts on my bonzai and it tasted fine(considering a quick dry) and burned evenly with gray ash. No way I could do that using chemical ferts. Anyway, gotta go feed my head(like the Doormouse said)

ok i thought it was all bark. adn i heard with organics that theri is no need for a flush and you can feed up til harvest. just what ive heard though.

wow she looks great for being unknown strain unknown soil, and only 92 watts of cfl, great job my freind, im glad you posted your pics. and dont worry about the quality of pics it took me for ever to get good pics of my plants in the beginning.

thanks man, this will be my fourth grow, but only my third harvest cause one grow op got shut down early. im looking forward to going bigger and trying my hand at DWC under HPS/MH i've been doin my homework and all i need now is the space and $$, and right now i have neither

ya i know how it is bein low on funds and no place to grow, in time every thing will fall into place if marijuana growing is a passion for you as it is me. im stricly a soil guy though. the only real benifets of hydro in my eyes and a few hydro growers that i know is that they veg faster and thats it.

im aware of the increased growth rate and i've seen some results that just blew me away. Check out Scrogking on youtube.com and look at his "how to grow like jigfresh" video. dude is fucking amazing.

Age: 62 days from cutting, 12 days into flower so far
Didn't start LST until she was I believe roughly 30 days old

Here's a pic taken just now:



Ok, this is my first grow so forgive me if this is a stupid question but... Do I actually have 8 tops? Seems like a lot, and I would have two more but I snapped off two of them on accident (including the main)

But overall, what do you all think? Does she looks like she will yield well?

i followed the thread on here the hole time. and with as much light as he was using it would be easy to pull the same weight if not more with soil. im not hating on hydro or anything but i prefer soil cuz results are about the same. also hydro is a bit more spendy to by all the pumps, airstones. ppm meters keeping the water cool or warm it also means you need more venting cuz the humidity will be higher with all the water in theri. but like i said im not hating on it.

yup she looks to have 8 main tops. and i think she looks great she looks nice and healthy over all. and as for yeild well thats a hard one. what lights are u using and how many watts, and maybe i can make a decent guesstimate.

Man he just had so many monster colas, i was appauled. never seen anything like it indoors. but all his videos are reason enough to make one lean toward hydro.

just try to get the light as close as you can to the tops with out burning. how far is it from the tops right now. and she dont looks to stretched. and buds being dense is not every thing qaulity is important to and so far it looks like it is gonna be good. and she will most likely grow into it. what is the other plant behind the big girl

light is 8 inches above her, i think that should be fine... the other plant is sharksbreath, buddy of mine gave me a seed. she's about 2 or 3 weeks younger than the big plant but she's growing extremely slow, but i'm sure it's the soil+ph that are the problem, but i can't be bothered to deal with it! thank for your help

hey ppl just thought id share a couple of pics of my lemon and cheese lst'd just before flower there at 5 weeks and the cheese inparticular is taking well, toke away ppl the lst's on here are looking sweet ppl

lookin good jumbo the plants are very healthy lookin. in the 2nd pic top right though it looks like the plant has one top alot taller than the others, witch is not bad but if even with the others the light would be distribute better.

and what are u using to tie them over, i dont see any strings or anything

yeah the one on the top right is the lemon skunk this ones very sativa pheno and is strugglling to stay down with the rest of the branches im going to put another load of string on her to keep her even, it is string but the bushiness covers it all lol thx for commenting

You ever hear about the rules of environment to get females? Turns out about 80% of plants aren't firmly determined thus 10% determinately female and 10% determinately male would be always present. That I think explains better than any why 10 seeds are packaged but if you do it wrong you could have 90% male or if you did it right 90% female. These were brought out by one of the seed co's I think. But it's cool environment (and Heat Is Male) low N! I fell into the righteous path accidently when I grew on a basement floor. 27/30 female so you know it works.
