i have bought regular seeds not realy knowing what i was doing, but its only my first time so i dont mind if i mess it up but does anyone know what sort of chance you have of having fem's in a pack of regulars. do companys sell regular seeds knowing that they are more than likely male ?

I usually get 70% females from regular seeds.

in a pack of 10 u can only get 4 females and the rest males.. all depends on how lucky u get u might get more fems & less males..

Basically.Just get to growing and good luck.You can try fem seeds next time.But people sometimes end up with hermies or very rare a male out of fem packs.It has not happend to me but good luck on your grow.

What strain did you get for your first grow? Some seed banks that are sketchy at best, know what strains are unstable but still choose to make money selling a bad product. To answer your question; breeders and seed banks don't know if a strain is more prone to being male. It really is luck of the draw and is predetermined according to the seeds' genetic make up.

Great choice. I have done blue mystic from nirvana and got 7 fems from 10 seeds. 2 males and 1 hermie and the rest pure females.
