This system was made completely from items at Lowes, with the exception of the tub which was from target. I've been running it for the last 5 hours checking for leaks on the lid, all is well so far. I'll just throw in all the pictures I guess and if anyone has any questions I can answer them more specifically. One thing to mention with this lid, if you use the same one, cut the little fins off the inside with a razor blade so it will get a better seal. Some of the pics kinda suck, they're from my cell phone, but I think they cover most of the materials and how I did it. Im also adding a $15 petco air pump to it thats not pictured.

Little update. In the pic the top left is a jalepeno day 1. The main image is day 5 and the root pic was 3 days after start. Im running the lights 14 hours and its too hot in my garage so they are on at night. Temps in the mid 80's.

Im using 2x250MH 5700k. Some cheap nutes off ebay, Quickgrow at 1/2tsp per gal. which is around 550ppm in filtered water. I'm still trying to warm the old lady up to growing something else :) I really enjoy playing with hydroponics, and growing anything in general.

very nice! i recently did something very similar, used bubblerock instead of the jets or sprayers uve got there. 2 10" bubblerock and a beefy air pump with dual outlets to run em. my Q is your net pots, u said everything u picked up at lowes or targe? didnt think of lowes, but looked around a local home depot here and couldnt find the net pod or pot things youve got there anywhere. was hopin you remembd where u spotted them at in the store? just recieved my rockwool mini cubes for medium from h.depot.. germing 2 fem seeds as we speak for my new trial run bubble setup. good luck with yours! and with talkin your other half into using that baby for what its made for ;) i got all my stuff at walmart too by the way lol, well mostly.

No the netpots, nutes and hydroton I got off ebay, sorry for the confusion. I bought everything in small amounts to be cheap. 10 Netpots shipped were like $6, I think I paid $7 for hydroton for 6 pots, the nutes I got were cheap too. Granted I cant do much with what I got, but it was enough to get rolling for the cheapest money up front. Thanks for looking and the comment tho!

I used an identical system as yours for cloning. Worked awesome and in a small container. The main reason I didnt want to do it with actual plants is because I want to deal with a smaller amount of water. My system "full" has 6 gallons of water in it, whereas if I used the bubbler setup Id be way up near 18gal. I find the smaller amount more manageable with less waste.

Well you could print the one pic that shows it and bring it with ya. Its all 1/2" pipe. 3 T's, 2 end caps, about 2 feet of pvc, the risers are 10" with regular 1/2" sprinkler heads and about a 2" piece of 1/2 hose to connect the pump to the pvc with 2 hose clamps. Make sure you buy the rubber weatherstrip made for marine use, not the foam crap.

Here it is at exactly 2 weeks. Today PH was 5.8 PPM is about 550. I dont know shit about peppers and their light cycles. Its got about a dozen peppers starting on it so I'm guessing its like weed since its been on 14 hour cycles. It was super hot last week, temps hit the low 90's even in my garage. Still wearing down on the old lady to grow something else! I'm tired of taking vicodin and tramadol for my neck problem.

Props bro. after tons of research this is the exact system I have built myself after switching from soil to aero!!!! Dude both my parents are disabled and I make them pot brownies and they sleep like babies instead of taking all those pain medications that kill your liver and entire central nervous system!!! Biggest industry in the world is pharmaceutical drugs they don't want us growing something in are own homes that they cant get there grubby little fingers in!!!! Its all bullshit fuck the government all the CEO's of these drug companies are best friends with all are congress members and senators its all one big boys club hence why they lied to us for years of how bad pot is when in reality it surves more purposes then just getting stoned man have your old lady read this hope it help bro! all that vicodin and tramadol will kill your body over time and you can get addicted pot is not physically addictive bro threes proven studies!!!!

Save yourself a few $$$ and skip the net pots and hydroton all together - get a pool noodle and slice it up into 1 inch slices, then trim to fit your holes - the plant will hang out in the hole in the middle and the roots get sprayed from the bottom. I used to use net cups and neoprene collars that are like the ones that go with the EZ-clone system - but F that - pool noodles work just as well for a fraction of the cost.
