Hah, I was thinking, "Yeah, but I don't use them all constantly," so you inspired me to draw up a ghetto paint picture of how I plan to feed the plants (roughly, but accurate on a large scale).

nuteschedule.jpg

That's just for flowering, but yeah.

edit: Oh, and that's lacking the foliar feed once a week til week 3 -4, depending.

Oh aight cool, I usually start my hydroplex around the 3rd week, guess i should just use it through out with the rest of my nutes.

I heard it's best used from start of flowering (in low low dosage) up til around week 6 -- hard to be specific cause it depends when the plant stops swelling and needs hardening. Then, if you can see it in the painting, the Hydroplex drops off abruptly and Gravity is used, or in my case, Overdrive.

Okay. I've decided I need to start focusing my efforts on getting a co2 tank and regulator.

Gonna see if I can get ahold of one for free, but if not, anyone know anywhere to get a solid one?

Lol, yeah man. I don't have money to throw around either. I obtained those over time, though I will admit a bit of them came recently. But it's not bad going to a hydro shop and only needing nutes and not a light or something, heh.

The way I look at it, it seems obvious to me that plants are going to need different things at different parts of their life, more so than the standard line of nutes is going to be able to give you. A nute company wants a product that is going to keep plants as healthy as possible at all stages of the cycle they aim for, so they're not going to be able to hone in on any specific part. So I'm confident additives are necessary to achieve the max from your plant. And if it works as planned, I'll get more than enough end yield to make up the money spent on the additives.

Now, of course, that's just how I make sense out of it since I haven't studied botany and don't know exactly what levels the plants need and when. It's this thinking that lead me to spend hours talking to my hydro guy about everything I could possibly give to my plant to make it grow to its max potential. And I'm now growing with the exact same nutes that he uses.

But I think we've all seen pics of what cannabis is capable of, and that's what I'm aiming for. Besides, these nutes will last me so damn long at the rate I use them with only 5-6 plants in flower.

Yeah. My hydro guy has/had a bunch of free packets of them. I think normally it's like $35 for a container of Open Sesame. I'm not sure on Beastie Bloomz.

Glad to have you watchin.

Gave the veggers 15 drops of CocoA/B and 10 drops of Cannazym and Rhizotonic yesterday (PPMd to 300 including water). Then gave them just 30 drops of CocoA/B today (PPMd to between 300-400 including water) because they started looking a little nutrient deficient a few days ago, turning a lighter, paler green. So we'll see how that does them. They were getting light feeds for weeks, so I suppose it's about time I kicked it up.

I've been giving the flowering plants a couple feeds of 900 - 1000 PPM, including water, feed of half cap Organa Guano, half cap Hydroplex and 6 capsful of Canna Coco A/B. Today, I upped it to 1100 by adding another capful of Coco A/B. I upped it cause I notice the God's Gift looking a little nutrient hungry, and the rest should handle it fine as I've been increasing slowly.

Hey, man. I haven't grown PK before, but I can tell you what I notice about the PK I'm growing this time. I FIM'd mine the day I got them as clone and then vegged them for 2.5 weeks. They FIMd very, very well and have a bunch of tops each now, but they didn't grow much at all when I swapped to flower. They're still quite small, but they should end up full of bud on each top. It definitely grows like an indica. I imagine a seed version would grow faster, but who knows. Smoke should be great, if grown right.

I didn't feed the babies yesterday like I normally would have because there was a lot of condensation on my panda film and they seemed fine. I fed them today again with what I gave them last feed. I'm trying to up the PPM without going overboard because I know some of these babies are needing some more nutes.

After the last feed of an upped amount (to 1100, which includes a base 200 from water) I noticed that the Oreos didn't drink as much as they usually had in a day, which isn't a good sign. So I decided to not be lazy today and measure the PPM and PH of each plant's runoff to see how they're doing.

Feed was pH 5.4 - 5.5 today. I'm trying to bring the pH of the medium to about 5.8 and my feeds usually balance out around 6.0 - 6.2, so that's why it was lower today.
PPM was 1000 on my truncheon after the feed sat for a little bit.

After feeding all plants, the runoff tested as follows:
God's Gift - 900 PPM and 6.0 - 6.1 pH.
One of the PK's - In range of 900 to 1000 PPM and 6.0 pH.
Now, the surprising one to me but not surprising really after noticing them drinking less yesterday -
Both Oreos - 1400 - 1600 PPM and 5.9 pH.
Other PK - In range of 1000 to 1100 PPM and 5.9 - 6.0 pH.

So all the plants are eating the nutes great except for the two biggest fockers who eat like little pansies. So needless to say, I flushed the two Oreos with pH'd 5.8 water. Here are some pics.
