k,
so i wanna take a clone from my plant, and i hear that its good to root them in stuff like rockwool, but im not really able to get it where i live...
would you be able to root a clone in a sponge if you give it enough root hormone and all that crap?
same idea right?

just root it into soil. unless you are dong hydro. then i would take 2 dixie cups and poke a few holes in 1 and put it inside the other. fill with perlite or your little clay pellet things. due the seedling nutes in the water and fill.

that dixie cup method actually sounds like a pretty good idea

but you can root a clone right into soil without them dying?
isnt that harder on the plant?

You can root a clone in soil in a dixie cup with no problem. When im out of rapid rooters i just stick the clones in a dixie cup full of soil and put them in a dome.Within7-10 days they are rooted and you can soo the roots on the side of the cup.

A dome is a humidome to keep the clones humid while inside. You can make your own easily. You can use the stuff that holds cake, aluminum trays whatever.Ive seen alot of homemade humidomes. The point is to make sure your clones stay moist and humid.

best thing to do when cloning in soil is to just leave them alone and don't tug on them every few days to see if they rooted just wait it out
