I am currenlty 10 days away from harvesting a Nirvana White castle plant. With it I am growing 2 Nirvana WHite Widow plants in 10 days they will all be at 8 weeks in flower. And it seems the White Widow will need aleast 1 week more could be even 2 weeks more. I have a very limited amount of space so i cant just pull the White castle and set it up in another room.

My question is when I give my White castle the Dark time pre harvest will it be bad to have the Widow in the same time of darkness even though I dont plan on it being harvested fro another 7-14days after the White Castle. Can I go back t the 12 on 12 off or can I keep it at the 36 dark 12 lite for those 7-14day?

I wouldn't let it get darkened out for more than 48 hrs. I don't think MJ can survive 3 days in the dark.

Now you're gonna have a bunch of people tell you that dark is pointless at the end.

I was under the impression that it becomes more crystalied at nite or in dark phase and that doing so at the end for 24-36 hours b4 harvest was a good thing. So basicly if I do the 24-36 hours of dark then harvest the one. Then set back to 12/12 till the other 2 are done will be ok? Just dont go more then 48 of dark.

Yes, the other one should be ok.

I turn off all lights 2 days before harvest for a couple of reasons. 1) the buds do end up being more crystalized and 2) I don't want the lights on a plant that I'm about to chop because the light and the heat cause the trichs to degrade. My trim sessions are usually a 2-3 day event and this works out nicely.

Now the problem with having more multiply cycles/harvests in the same room is, you can't give the plants that are just about to be harvested a dark period. What I do is, turn off the lights above the plants that are about to be harvested so they don't get direct light on them, or I'll take out about 15-20 that are going to be chopped that day and put them in the bathroom or the corner of the room. Will do the same the next day and so on. If you turn off the lights for 24-48 hours, you'll fuck up the plants that still have 2 weeks to go to harvest and this is the time they really put on the weight...not worth it for the extra resin given your options available.

No way. you can hermie that lady. and its not that those last 3 days of dark create more trichs its that you dont turn on the light to break down the trichs. and its such a minumal diff that i would not do it with your first clip. and for giglles do it with your second chop in a week or 2

How do you figure they'll be ok? You're completely fucking with their time clock and almost guaranteed to make them hermie.
You really think a plant 2 weeks from harvest is all of a sudden going to turn into a hermie? That minimal amount so close to the end won't do a thing and even if it did the pollen sac from a hermie that late has slim chances of pollinating before harvest. If it does then he gets all fem seeds and if he can collect the bananas he can make his own. Win win.

You got a point but he'll lose out on some weight. You also may have a point in that even if they hermie it won't be enough time to push out seeds but again he'll lose out on weight. Not so sure about the fem seeds. He'll have seeds from a hermie and the chances those will hermie are increased.

If he's gonna chop a week apart, I think it would be better to let these go and harvest them a week late rather than interupt the cycle for the others and get them back under the light. Either that or just separate the ones he's gonna harvest now by putting them in a bathroom or something

I agree that would be the best way.
