I had this black molly that would follow my every movement.. all the other fish just did fish shit, but this one started freaking me out (paranoid coke days..LOL) I'd walk by and the little guy would plaster himself in the corner at whatever end I was at and just stare....

my fish do that to me when theyre hungry. it was creepyer with my old pirhana though they were creepy.

Funny fishkeeping story....
When my cats were born I kept alot of fish. At the time I was just boarded and my wife had to look after the cats and fish for me. In the mornings getting ready for work, she had to feed the lot... The fish knew the yellow tetra food can and also could recognise my wife... She would then say to the cats (where are the fishies?, in afrikaans). I have not had fish for the last few years... When it is feeding time for the cats you jus thave to ask where the fishies are and they are all like miaauing and attentive for food.
One is in hospital, as a big dog bit her last night... (her first night out of the new house)

You're keeping Lamprologus brichardii with Oscars? Yeah.. that's not gonna last too long. Neither is an Oscar in a 20 or 30. When he outgrows it, if you can't house him, search for fish/aquatic rescues. I just learned about one recently. Or, feed it bugs and fruit to make it taste better, then do what the natives do and have him for dinner. I hear they're excellent eating, but not likely if it's being fed goldies.
No more tanks for me. But, I am intrigued by DWC using aquaponic methods.
I hate to tell you, but not one of those fish he listed qualifies as "sweet".
'Cept maybe the catfish (depends on the catfish).ANC, plecs are an entire group of catfishes, with many, many species. You'd have to know what species he's keeping to be able to tell him what its ultimate size is.Lol I'm busy converting all my old planted tanks and lights to growing units...
THe big sucker fish is called a plecostomus... Shops are cruel in selling the normal form of this fish which realy grows to over 2 feet... it is just cruel keeping em in a tank... the proper type to keep in a tank is the bristlenose variant... they stay smallish.
If you can help it at all, PLEASE don't buy from Petco. You don't even want to know what I know about that outfit.
The talk has been that they're supposed to be getting OUT of the live animal trade, and I hope like hell that's the truth. Mr. Brian Devine, what say you?

it dident last long that bitch got ate. i live in alaska you im lucky to even have a petco. and im not about to buy walmart fish..
i have the money for a 100 gallon tank ill be moving him sometime in the future, but hes not that big. he was fucking tiny when i got him i knew hed grow just dident think itd be that fast. but hes really slow cuz he only has one fin one one side so if hes not chasing a goldfish hes just swimming lazily in circles. so i can keep tiger barbs and small cichlids with him

ok now i have a silver arowana names marijuana cuz its funny to me to say marijuana the arowana hes bad ass i have to get a bigger tank now though too many big fish in too small of a tank. but hes a mean badass he doesnt eat food unless another fish is trying to eat it, he swims up and snatches that shit like bitch my frozen krill. theyre native to the amazon and get 4 feet long and eat small mammals. and i breeded my convict cichlid babies

yeah getting high and watching fish is bad ass , theres a store here in ak called alaska coral maniacs and they have a 600 gallon reeftank with a couch in front of it. i wanna get high on that couch so bad
