Aero 4x4 floodtable, 81 plants, 2k watt light? +Rep

Just set up a 4x4 flood table converted to a aeroponic system.. i have 81 two inch net pots..

Im sure i can get by with 1kwatt light but do you guys think its worth throwing another one over it ?(since its only a 4x4 space)

double the light double the yield i would hope
 
IF YOU HAVE 81 PLANTS FOR ONLY 2X1000 WATT LIGHTS YOU WILL NEED ANOTHER LIGHT. THEY SAY ONLY 15-18 PLANTS PER LIGHT. i HAVE 2X1000 HPS OVER 20 LADIES, BUSHY AS EVER. IT WILL WORK AND YOU WILL GET BY BUT IF YOU WANT THE BIG YIELDS, GET ANOTHER LIGHT. IF YOU HAVE 2X100 HPS, GO AHEAD AND GET A MH LIGHT TO BALANCE IT OUT AND GIVE SOME BLUE SPECTRUM, LIGHT TO HELP WITH VEG( BUSHIER PLANTS) HAPPY GROWING

Your suggesting he has 2 1000watt lights and then add another.... wow.... that will need a hell of a lot of cooling. A 1000 watt light over a 4X4 should get you a pound very easily with an indica dominant strain. The nugs will only get so big and so dense. You will get more yield if you add a second light....HOWEVER.... your weight per watt will be much better using 1 light than 2 lights. For example you will get 1 pound of 1 light and maybe 1.5 pounds of 2 lights. So its more efficient to use one light. Not to mention much cooler.

Your best option would be to add another tray. do 40 in each tray with a 1000 watt above.

Remember if your doing SOG you dont need the intense light penetration of a 1000 watter. Since there is little side branching shading the plant.

Yes this would be a SOG, I guess i will just stick with my one light and save 300+$..

I'll just add another table and 1000 watter later..

And a 400cfm inline fan does wonders for cooling my current light i figure it could handle another if its on full blast. (i use ac unit also)
