Ive heard of light leak causing problems in an indoor grow. Can anyone provide more information on this? What are the results of light leak?

My flower room does not get 100 percent darkness. What can i expect?

imagine a room....all lights shut off. heavy wooden blinds covering a window...outside the window a fluorescent light burns. you would be able to see a person walking in the room just not being able to identify them.

plants arent showing deformations. what would i look for to see if light leak was causing a problem? symptoms other than hermaphrodism?

Best bet would be to compare it to ambient light provided by the moon. If it is darker than what the moon would put off, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If it is as bright as what a full moon would be, you might run into trouble since it is only a full moon for 1-2 days.

good point. i should take an average of how dark it is outdoors and apply that to the darkness of the flower room. thanks.

well they are well into flower. no problems...just wondering if my buds are 2x smaller than they could be or something. it is similar to the amount of light outdoors in the city.

If they have made it this far into flowering then it seems like there isnt enough light to cause any problems.
Minmal light causing growth stunting would be a new topic for me, its not impossible but never heard of it

Yeah- if light is affecting it, it isn't by much. Good looking buds. The buds might induce retardation, but those are the best kind of buds.

LOL, well said indeed.
Only possible issue that could exist is stunted growth if no retardation is showing, and since there is no control group to compare against, I'd say f- it! Your plants look killer homes!
