i get along with some younger kids but most of them are idiots. even when i was younger i didnt like how a lot of kids my age acted. everyone wanted to brag about everything, was reckless, always thought they knew what they were doing but didnt. so many young kids do nothing except steal and narc. young people are stupid and inexperienced. since they are reckless they get caught and scared so they narc. they don't realize that narcing will not help you at all unless maybe it's something huge like multiple pounds. seems like the newer generation is a breed of mostly scum bags. i swear i ever see one of these young fucks trying to steal my crops i will shoot them on sight in the balls even if there only 15 or 16. they know better, they just don't care. i've learned to trust no one. especially young ones. wait until you get to know them good and make sure its not one of them delinquents. i admit i've dont stupid shit when i was young, but damn a lot of kids these days need a good ol fashion ass beating. im glad i have friends that dont mind going to jail to beat the fuck out of these young punks that cross me. dont get me wrong though, a lot of older people are just as bad. but it's even worse for them cause they have been alive longer and should know even better. i wish parents these days were more old fashioned. they let there kids get away with too much. they illegally smoke in public and dont give a fuck. they ride around town up and down main street puffing on pipes, windows down in front of everyone. then when they get caught they go crying to mommy/daddy for doing something they knew better in the first place. i have little sympathy. if your going to smoke illegally, at least be private and dont go around town advertising that your a pot head. no wonder why cops arrest so many. then the small chance when good and careful folk get arrested, it makes them look bad. not only that but these people keep getting in trouble so it creates even more demand for those asshole cops to the point where everyone is under watch cause society wasn't raised to take care of itself cause people are fucking idiots. be smart, be private. even if your legal keep it private. otherwise thieves will try and rob you if your a grower, and again drawing more cops. i hate to say it, and i hate to be a pessimist, but i think humanity is eventually doomed. too many shitty parents breeding shitty kids. i hate it, then when something goes wrong they use their kids as a crutch. and for some reason, it seems like it's mostly people that are reckless, have too many kids which were all accidents born out of wed lock. not all but most. again trust almost no one. your trust has more value than you think and the wrong people will take advantage of that. make people earn their way, don't be the nice guy and just let anyone in. i dont even live in a big city and it's this bad.

did anyone notice that no one wants to come out and rep the younger crowd? even the youngin's are repping the older crowd. i guess it's official. youth sucks. old and rickety. that's where it's at. i'll smoke with anybody until they mention how much they love some abomination on mtv. it is at that point that it's clear we will have nothing in common. i'm not even 30 yet btw. it reminds me of romy and michelles high school reunion when michelle went to the mtv show singled out (yeah it was a 90s movie) and they said, "our cutoff is 25. try vh1." and she got wicked depressed. lmao. now i'm the same age as those broads in the movie and i'm kind of starting to freak out. i'm obviously not part of the "older crowd" but i sure as shit don't have anything in common with this facebook generation. to teens i am old and i smoke that dank "old people weed". to the 50+ people i'm still a young punk who doesn't know shit. i've learned to embrace that last part. i like smoking with people who have stories, and they come in many ages. old timer stories are the best though because they didn't have all those bullshit nanny laws back then. you could smoke a cig in the hospital while giving birth in those days. hell that's a story in itself, straight from the mouth of an old hippie lady known to us as simply "wheezy".

. Judging by who they admire such as Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers, and all this reality show nonsense. It seems like the older people who don't smoke ignore all of this but us who do toke, talk about everything and anything. It makes sense that we as smokers of cannabis would talk and be aware of all the BS out there and how much it is affecting the people in our world. Advertising and TV media...my worst enemies...breeding stupidity...Also, music these days is pure garbage. What the hell happened to people playing instruments?? What happened to musical artists having TALENT??? Nowadays it's as if any schmo who can afford "Garage Band" or an auto-tuner gets their 15 minutes of fame with some collision of already created music and their own BS lyrics. The top songs of today [which ripped apart great beats of the past and were loosely sewn together with trash of today's musical artists] are all going to be forgotten in a matter of a few years whereas the greats

Damn...this thread totally bums me out!! I'm freakin 60...been smokin since I was 17....went to Woodstock...smoked the Acapulco Gold...ate the Owsley (quite a few times!)...did midnight Dead at the Filmore East and New Years Shows at the Filmore in SF.
Now the "old dudes responding in this thread are in their 40's...which makes me feel totally ancient. Yeah...blunts make no sense to me...I know...it smokes longer, but if I'm gonna smoke tobacco...I'm gonna smoke tobacco..and if I'm gonna smoke weed, I was wanna taste it and feel it. I still grow my own...and I have to admit that better genetic strains and better growing methods are a real advance.
But what really bums me out is the shift in cultural values. I know that peace and love and smiling on ur brother sounds way lame in 2010. Hip hop culture glorifies gettin high in the context of gang warfare, bitches and hoes, and a bunch of ugly-assed bling for bling's sake. Gettin high wit a 20 year old reminds me how little I have in common with these kids...and how the lofty ideas of my peeps about changing the world into a better place have totally turned to shit.

BlackThumb, I'm in it with you as much as I am in it with the 17 year old who the cops are beating up. The only way I can win anything is if I'm doing good by everyone else. Those guys recognize that good stuff you possess just as much as you do, they have just got a bit more distraction to deal with. We ARE on the same page.
