6 of them are Albert Walker x Fire OG F1s. And 6 are Fire OG x The White x Larry OG F1s, also from fortyfour. I started out with 9 of the AW x FireOG and 12 of the The Whitefire x Larry OG male. I weeded out the weak, no pun intended.
Oh ok cool, i wanna try a coco grow eventually, but im good with soil now, what strains are in those party cups?
It's funny how people have different experiences with stuff. I grew in a hydroton ebb and flow table the first grow. At the time, I had heard soil supposedly gives a better taste. So I tried soil the second time. Well, despite the different strains and first time using each medium, I thought the first hydro bud was better. And my hydro guy says soilless mixes can't be beat, so I like it cause it fuels my first impressions.

I really just want to dial in one medium and nute lineup and two strains, one that rocks for night time and one that rocks for daytime. So I think I'm sticking with this recommended lineup my hydro guy uses, and I'm going to see how I can do. Right now it's a pain in the ass to feed, though, because I don't have a table and bucket to collect runoff, so I have to take the plants outside to water them. I'm sure they love the environment, but it isn't cool for me. I have a little design I drew up on paper that should make my life ez pz next grow, though, when I put a box up in my area. I'm going to put a little square podium-type thing up on the front, about head high with me, that has a hole in the middle of it. Then I'll put a flange connected to a nozzle that I can manually turn to open and close the valve on it on the bottom of my feed bucket. So I can fill up, plop the bucket on the square podium thing with the nozzle coming through the middle, and then connect the hose connected to the handled squirter-feeder-thing up to it, open the valve, and voila - gravity will feed the plants. /endramble

Nah, none in hydroton anymore. They're all in just coco, no mixing in of anything. I feed them every other day with a 5 gallon bucket that I mix my nutes in -- it's in the pic on page 2 or whatever of all the shit I use. So every other day I take them outside and pour the bucket into them until it fills up the entire top of the plant's coco with solution, and then I move on to the next one, etc. I estimate it to be about a gallon a plant, or maybe a little less as I usually have some extra solution after feeding the five.

I was going through some junk and stumbled upon this old cabinet that is pretty much exactly what I needed for a veg / mother box. My shelf before was just not going to cut it after a while. It's too small. This cabinet is 2 feet tall and like 2 and a half feet wide when I lay it the way I want it, with the flap raisable from the bottom.

I put mylar up on all of the walls with duct tape, which let me tell you, mylar and duct tape can be two of the most frusterating shit in the world to work with when you're a perfectionist. I just had to give it up and accept the fact that it wasn't going to be all well and flat all around. I cut three one-inch holes on one side, which you can see in the pic. And then there is one hold on the other side.

I really don't know if this amount of light is going to work. It's two T5, 24watt 6500k light strips. Has worked well so far, and the plants look okay, but I feel like I could put another two in there and be golden. I'm sure I'll end up doing that.

Haha, you ain't kidding about the mylar being a pain in the butt. I put it in my rubbermaid grow box and just about through the whole thing through my window trying to get it to work. Your's looks great though! Plus any air movement will make it flutter so you shouldn't get hot spots.

Oh yea....I just got some mylar...was putting it up with tape and staples.

It looked alright with just the tape...then i turned my system on, and the fans nearly blew the mylar off, and caused it to lift off from the walls...so i stapled it up w/ little cardboard strips to prevent tears...and now theres all these random waves and streching....

I think ill use Spray adhesive next time.

Hey what brand are them T5 strips, and how do you like em?

I was thinking of getting some of those ones that "click" together in a "daisy" chain configuration.

Haha, yeah, damn mylar. I actually got it up really smooth and nice for my flowering area, but I had 2feet by 4feet flat pieces of wood to work with, so I was able to fold it up and around the edges nicely before stapling it.

Anyway, they're Sun Blaze t5 light strips. They've worked really well for me so far, so no complaints here. They click in also. They come with little screws and things that they snap into.

Ahh the Sun-Blaze...i was considering getting one of their enclosed units like the "SunBlaze 24, 28, etc"...until i saw those in a catalog.

Im thinking of gettin a couple to hang vertically in my current veg chamber for some extra light.

So I've had spider mites on my most prolific purple kush plant. It seems they've been pretty concentrated on that one plant, and I have noticed little to no damage on other plants. I unleashed some ladybugs and made a little concoction that I rubbed on the leaves. It's definitely still a war, but the damage intake has been pretty well stopped.

It seems they're enjoying the feeds around 900 PPM, except the God's Gift, which could use more. I decided to syringe up a half lid and lid cap worth of my additives to see what I was putting in, and it turned out to be more than I had wanted.

So I'm giving them 15 - 20 ml Hydroplex and 15 - 20 ml Organa Guano. Today, I gave them a very small pinch of Beastie Bloomz and this feed and the last feed has had 10 ml of Bud Candy. All of this is per 5 gallons.

I'll update pics on Friday.
