Problems with indoor plant.

My friend is growing just one plant. Its under one 150 watt hps light fixture in a growbox. The light is approximately 15 inches from the plant. The temperature stays around 84-85 degrees. Soil is Sta-Green which contains:nitrogen,phosphate,potash,,potassium,canadian peat moss, and perlite. Has proper ventilation and a fan flowing fresh air over and towards the plant. He waters every 2-3 days when the soil is real crusty, how much water should he pur into it?

The plant is exactly 20 days old, its approximately 5 inches tall with 25 visible leaves, Is this good or bad?

The problem is , maybe 3 of the leaves has very small yellowish spots on the outter tips of the leaves, and the other leaves look a pretty green healthy color. What could be the cause of this?

You can soak it as long as it has drain holes...let it pour! Slight nute burn from soil nutes will get better once watered good! Ph adjusted for soil.

HAHA , awesome bro ... its not that whole leaf is turning yellow... its like 3 leaves outta 25 , has just a few real tiny yellowish spots, so once it starts getting good water , it will cure?

& is 25 good visible leaves at about 5 inches tall good for 20 days old or horrible?

The yellow ones will not get better,damage done, but the green ones will not get worse!

From seed that's ok I can't see it?...got a pic?

sorry i have no pic , but can descibe it good .

its 5 levels high ... bottom role 2 fan leaves , next has 2 stems coming out , each with 2-3 leaves , 3rd layer has 4 stems coming out , each with 3 , 4th layer has 4 stems with 5 leaves each , then the 5th level has 2-4 stems with 5 leaves. if that makes sense to you.

5 inches tall , from leaf tip to leaf tip is about 6-6.5 inches in width

Lmao well it sounds good...lol you are talking about a plant right? lol.

Yes of course it makes sense to me...sounds like a decent start. Wait til you see what it can do once you water it!

hey lime , you know under the newbie forum .. when you posted and they liked your chart , and the kid showed his leaf with kinda yellow brownish to it .. well my leaf is double the size of that really .. and its at the main end of the tip kinda .. its only a tad yellow color , not as noticable as that kids pic , but has no brown in it like his.

hey lime , you know that one kid you posted on under the newbie forum. He showed off his leaf and they liked your chart ... well my leaf is 20 days old and double the size of that leaf , well bigger ... at the end of my leaf , towards the tip , it has very few , not real noticable yellow spots .. not brownish like his ... so you can compare to that and give you a better understand.

Yellow tips is slight nute burn. Slight on tips is ok will not get worse once you water.

Woooh...I'm seeing Double!!!
