Are you speaking of that black fan ?
That is enough to help keep the canopy cool.
What are you doing for extraction ?
Cracking open the sliding door ?

Yes for extraction at the moment i am simply cracking the door slightly open; for use further into the grow, i have made a 12v computer fan attached to the tube of my mylar i had and will attach it on the side of my lights sucking OUT of my grow area into the larger room through the sliding door.

Here's what im working on, its not quite complete yet, but you get the idea.

Just a quick update and pic before i head off to sleep. My baby is doing fine, although i see some minuscule white dots on the first set of fan leaves, do you think this is normal and just the plant starting itself off? The plant seems very healthy and growing quickly. That being said, here is a pic.

i just harvested a roadrunner....stayed small for me...but it had heat issues that stunted it..they are very sensitive to nutes and really really hate heat...and they put off one hell of a odor during flowering...my whole room smelled like a lemon/skunk mix..so keep that in mind if you have nosey people around you.its now day 2 into cure...dont smell as strong but im sure after a week or two they will get that lemon/skunk/diesel smell back to it...ive noticed this plant seems to vary with each grow...got to remember that it has diesel ryder genetics in it...which is a strong smelling plant.

Im definitely setting up an exhaust computer fan soon, and I already have a crap load of activated charcoal from way back when i had fish. Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial for a homemade exhaust fan?
As for heat goes, my grow area is fairly tall "5 foot", so im hoping that most of the heat will stay towards the top.

Good work. I remember when mine were that young, I have two around the same age and two about 5 weeks from seed about to head to flower.

Kinda half update, moved into a new grow room. MUCH bigger now, its 14' x 14' x 8'. Do you think i still need a fan for extraction of heat? Right now i have the black fan placed blowing away from the lights, a ceiling fan in the room on full, and the ac vent is open to the room. AC is always set to 77 degrees.

Assuming the thermostat that controls the A/C is located in the grow room you should be good, otherwise you'll heat up the room. I had to exhaust into a return A/C vent to get the heat out of the room.

Ehh its around the corner, but its close enough to it. I don't think it would ever get over 82 degrees in that room though.

You ALWAYS need an extraction fan !
That stagnant air AND dank, foul, overwhelming smell of buds growing will affect your ENTIRE house !!

Ehh ill crack a window during flowering and put a fan blowing out it..Im only growing 1 plant at a time so the smell wont be too bad

Don't assume the smell won't be strong, even from one plant.
If you have the extraction air being pushed or pulled through a carbon filter, then it might be okay in the house.

You might be able to get by with a little ONA Block and Febreze Carbon Filter Wall Plugin.

I'd Probably Bust the light out on the night light. But for one plant, seems like that would easily get the job done.
wel i do have one of these, do you think that would suffice?

Update; i had to move my grow area, "as i said previously"
Some pics of the new setup; will be working on improving area much more this weekend, mylar and getting my HPS setup ready for later in the grow.

One question i have though, currently i have my baby sprouted in a rock-wool cube in a Tupperware container with about a quarter inch of ph'd solution in the bottom. Should i leave the lid on completely sealed and take it off for a few minutes every day or just leave it completely off from now on?

I highly recommend the ONA Pro Block. It works really well. They could easily outsell Fabreze products if they were sold at walmart.
