well i just found this thread, and im not gonna read all the posts but here's my .02
i think if everyone had guns, i meen every fuckin person in america. crimes would go down. because deep down, criminals are cowards. if they knew the other side was armed too, they'd be scared. i think all americans would finally walk around with a neutral respect for eachother and a dont fuck with me sign on there back.

Well, There are a certain element of criminals that just don't give a fuck, like the junkie that hasn't had a fix in a few hours and is jonesing hard. I believe at this point, a violent strungout junkie will most assuredly face you off in a shootout and shoot first if given a chance. I've had the unfortunate experience to deal with a few of these animals, and believe me they are desperados. If they haven't hocked their gun for drugs, or if they have a blade, be aware they will assert any means necessary to obtain drug money from whomever they come in contact with.

There are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many reasons to allow guns in this country, most of them have probably been mentioned in this thread. You still stand there with this LAME DUCK METHOD of posting without making any points. In an discussion, you would be the first that people turn their backs to... even those that agree with you. Why? Because you don't even bring anything objective to the table that people on your side can use as leverage.
Criminals will get guns either way. I just want to level the playing field when the local crack dealer hears voices in his head that I need to be shot. There is one reason. Then again "its not really a reason because you ARE that crack dealer." There beat you to it.
