Man, I still am having a hard time here. When I crack the lid to white widow, It is very, very strong smelling. If it was mold wouldnt it smell like ammonia? wouldnt I know right away if it was mold? Or something that was wrong? I just dont see any kind of mold on these buds or anything out of the ordinary but the smell im getting confused about. I pinch a bud and the smell is the same on my fingers as when I crack the lid to the jar. Can anyone else take a look at the video and let me know if im just being paranoid? Smokes killer!!!
Its beyond skunky at this point. I must be such a noob that I am getting that deep dark skunk smell confused with something wrong. Wish I could just send someone a bud and see what they say. Oh yeah and it definatly smells different and better when in a bag, then in the jar.

My wife and i have an on going conversation about the odor of my buds. I have the exact opposite issue you have. Like your first grow I used some seeds from a know source so I knew what the bud smelled like based on the bud it came from. Evn after dry and cure they have almost no odor, never did through out the entire grow. I move alot of air so I chalk it up to the stink being sucked out, don't know just talking out my ass.
I have a theroy that enviroment plays a big part in ordor, and word has it you stink.

you know you might be right. It is my basement!!! could be that basement funk smell.....Dunno. Damn, maybe next time cure upstairs?????

It smells like a skunks ass stuck in coffee.....LOL, and when you take a toke of this shit, your whole mouth and nose gets a very very strong skunk taste and smell for about an hour. Definatly one of the skunkiest stuff I have ever had, Its almost as bad as if you ran over a skunk in your car and the smell is so intense inside the car you can almost taste it. Thats what this is like. Thats all I have been smoking this week. I have four more seeds but I guess it all depends on pheno of each plant. If I can grow another plant just like this, That is all I would ever smoke. Any other weed that is as good as white widow? thats along the same genetics? I think nirvanas white widow is a line from green house seeds. Brazilian and Indian.

I've heard good things about some of the Diesels. My buddy swears by something called Heavy Duty Tutti Fruity (no idea if I spelled that right). Supposed to be a cross between Sour Diesel and Sweatleaf apparently. He's already a little eccentric, but he did just take off running into the woods after smoking this...

Take it from me.. your harvest is beautiful and to answer your question about being able to see any mold? No, you have no mold my friend. Even if it were really really miniscule amounts.. you would still be able to kinda see it. Your harvest is just fine brother and if I may say so, you did an excellent job. I like the looks of those buds.. look dank!

Hey SS, I would recommend trying something with the Sour in it, either a Sour Diesel, or maybe a Sour OG like I grew I think it would give WW a run for it's money

You can try white rhino or great white shark even el nino from greenhouse seeds.They all have the brazilian indian background.IM quite sure you would enjoy all of these.

Well, I'm not sure where the first one i grew came from, but the ones I have going now are pre-98 bubba's from Cali Connections... A good friend of mine just had his harvest, and I tell you that stuff is FIRE!! lol I cant wait for all the cuttings to root so I can get mine going.

Never had any og or kush strains at all. That I know of any way. I do like the knock out but more so the anti-anxiety I get from the WW. I mean, I could cut off my finger and be like "so what" on WW. Plus its so dank, I love that dank taste and smell. I think my last grow, one of the plants was a diesel. Now that its fully cured it smells a little like fuel or some kind of fuel smell and taste is so-so, but the high is great and only lasts about an hour or so with no come down at all. I can get blazed for an hour-hour half and be completely fine afterwords. The white widow on the other hand lasts 3 hours solid and come down is pretty rough. Either your sleeping or your smoking something else to compensate. Sour diesel might be something I look for in the future. Sour OG sounds interesting too. I might venture into the other White strains too.

Thanks alot, must be because im in the basement and the buds are getting stale air instead of fresh air every time I crack the lid. I might take them upstairs and outside for a few minutes today and let the "air out" sorta speak....(just cracking the lids on my jars and letting them get some outside air)
