brown buggers

Pls can someone help me,i found these bugs, at least i think they are bugs
on my trees.they are round and brownish yellow with a black strip down the middle n
they dont seem to move at all.they gather in clusters mainly around the bottom of the
stem.if anyone can give me some sound advice,that would be a awesome as im about
to start flowering.ive attached a couple of pics.thanks Picture 007.jpg

The pictures are very hard to see, is this at the bottom just above soil? Overwatering causing the branch to start rooting nodes? A cleary pic will get better responces.

this is definately SCALE.

No question about it!

Look for an insecticide that works on scale insects. It might have to be something quite harsh in order to get rid of them.

  • Indoor Plants: Remove scale by rubbing gently with a facial quality sponge dipped in rubbing alcohol. The alcohol alone should kill the scale, but the dead insects will remain on your plants and make it difficult for you to scout for new infestations. The small facial sponges, found in the cosmetic aisle, are abrasive, yet soft enough to use without scraping the plant stems.
    Be sure to buy plain sponges, without cleanser or lotion in them. As always, test on a small area first, since some plants are more sensitive than others.

I must be a very good grower...orvery lucky. The only problem I have had in two years is spider mites. I believe people try to hard when learning to grow. Start very small and very simple.
