I'm growing a mystery strain as well under almost the same setup. I'm using a 2ft 4bulb T5, and 4 x 40w CFLs. It worked wonders for veg and I just switched all the CFLs to 27k and 2 out of the 4 tubes from 65k to 27k.

Your play looks sweet =] and that outdoor looks really nice too.

How many CFLs are you using? And how big is your T5

I'm about to have a t5 grow too (when all the stuff comes in), are you happy with t5? i see a lot of people don't like them.

I love them man they are great for veg. If you don't use another light for flowering though I would reccomend getting at least a couple extra flowering bulbs (15 bucks a piece)

I've just started using them for veg and am very happy with them. I have 2 of the 24"x 4 tube t5HO lights (96watts and 8,000 lumens each) and think they're awesome. The bulbs are only warm to the touch and the whole fixture creates very little heat so I think they'd be ideal for cab grows.

@ Rollbluntz:
I like this grow you've go going BTW. Plants look really nice, especially for how little power your using. Excellent job...+rep

Thanks man and your right at the heat output of t5s they put off little to hardly no heat. Thanks for the post.

good i got a grow tent from htg so hopefully it does good

good shit man, ive used my T5HO for both this and my last grow. 4ft, 6bulbs, total of 25,200 lumens and almost no heat =D

i haven't had the opportunity to get the warmer bulbs for switching out during flower, but even so, my results have been awesome so far. I find they work best when incorporating something like scrog, or even just some very basic LST. I did a LST/Topping on my BlackJack run, and OMG, the results are proving to be off the chain =D

So you just used the straight veg bulbs for flowering and had good results? If so thats awesome because my warmer bulbs haven't came in yet and I'm using the veg bulbs and a couple CFLs and it has me a bit worried but that makes me feel much better.

has anyone ever heard of using green t5's to veg and red to flower? it decreases yield but i heard it makes the bud potent
