This is the second time I've grown Purple Kush and it still hasn't turned green. I live in Cali near the beach and I've been using soil and Humboldt country nutrients. Is there any way to influence a change in color?
anyone else? You meant Purple right? And i can't help you, sorry.
Yeah let me know that sounds like a cool trick if it works! Since I live near the beach I have no Ac thus I can't lower the temperature. Its about 5 weeks in right now and looks just like the other strains. I'm hoping this one turns purple, doesn't really make that much difference but does make it look coolerFrom what i have seen with the purps. temps did more than using something like purple max. How far along are you? i wouldnt worry about color till a few weeks before the end.
You can lower temps at least 10-15 deg at night. and maybe push it even cooler the last two weeks. ( i wouldnt go to low before the last week or two).
I am going to try the ice water flush. using only ice water the last 2-3 days of a flush, along with lower night temps. I will let you know how that goes soon. Its supposed (i think havent done it yet) give a final shock to roots causing some last min crystal production and additional color change. Gonna try it let you know.
