its not an ac, i went on craigslist and grabbed this water cooler for $40, it works amazing, i was able to drop the temp in my closet by 10-13 degreesis that an air conditioning system?
switching the light cycle so many times can def. stress it out and stunt growth when they are young aswell but ya i just measured and i have eight 8" clones all vegging under the 400watt MH at around a foot away each.. but you are right about the beginning you def. dont want them too close. this is where CFL lights come in handy for veg. you would save electricity, be able to use more lights, and have them closer to ur plants, literally inches away.. also which give you way better veg. growth, a blue spectrum helps leaves and stems grow where as the red spectrum helps mimic the fall season and does wonders for bud growth.ya i was reading and came across the 20/4 light argument and i liked it. I took a sort of unique approach to this grow, for the first week they were 24/0 and about 3.5ft from the light, i didnt want to stress them. The second week was 17/7 lighting cuz i had someone staying at my place. Then another week of 24/0. now for the past 1.5 weeks its been 20/4. Each week I moved the plant closer and closer to the light, because being older it can be stressed more. Now its sitting about 18 inches from the light looking pretty as ever. I have been LST the whole entire process so its super bushy
