Did you order the 6" inline that was like $25? If so, I was looking at the same thing and was curious about it.

do they actually guard ur garden so to speak? do they kill spider mites for example?
I don't have first hand experience with spider mites or ladybugs, but I've seen numerous posts and articles on the net saying that ladybugs eat both the mites AND their eggs. Other natural spider mite preventatives are predator mites and spider mite destroyers. Check this link:

id really like to look into this... i still have a few spider mites kickin around and im getting sick of it, worrying about them spreading, having to always spray them down etc. its annoying, thats y i need a grow tent, to control everything.

hhahahaha queerboy, ok i will keep that in mind. I cant get the plants any closer right this second cuz i am still waiting for my booster fans to be delivered, so the ducting in there is useless, but i will get them closer the second that stuff is hooked up and venting

nice man, now if you really wanted you could buy a MH conversion bulb and really veg the shit out of them.. when do you plan on flowering? and what are you keeping around for a possible mother? have any other lights?

The cab looks good man. If you're putting it in your backyard do you have any way to reduce the light from the venting? Just in case you have some nosy neighbors, y'know. Some type of bend in the ducting should work, as light can't bend around corners. Just a thought.
