Lower buds finishing ahead of top colas...

I've been wondering the same thing, it looks like on 2 of my plants a couple of the side buds are more advanced than the main cola, I thought it ripened from the top down

but if anything, it would be cooler on the lower buds? farther from the light(at least twice as far) and lower in the cab...

and another thing I've noticed in these 2 cases is that it is the bud(s) furthest(or close to it) from the main cola, down and away.

the lower buds are finishing first as its too hot at the tops move your light up thats why the lower buds are done coz the tops are too close

definitely not too hot at the top on mine anyway, stays mid-upper 70s at the canopy

yes one of mine is finishing from the bottom up

I agree, some strains the lower buds finish first. Not that unusual.
