Hi there,

I am making a BBC documentary about cannabis and one thing we were hoping to film for the doc was people in the UK who are guerilla growers. In an ideal world we would like to film someone harvesting this year's grow. If you or anyone else is interested in hearing more about the documentary then contact me on bart.corpe@bbc.co.uk

Hope to hear from you soon.

Bart

ITS FREAKN ME OUT AN I DONT KNOW WHTAT TO THANK, ESPECIALY SINCE MY GROW OUTDOOR WENT LIKE HELL AN I DONT LIVE IN THE UK?:wall:

in the states there's states that have "shield laws" that protects journalists and their sources.

i don't know if that's the case in the UK though.

i would stay away in either case.

different version here...

My name is Ellen and I’m part of a small team making a new observational documentary about Cannabis for BBC3. We are keen to talk to people, both male and female, who think their fertility might have been affected by cannabis use. Do you think cannabis effects sperm count? Are you, or your partner, giving up to try and conceive?
In the first instance I’m very keen to hear from anyone who wants to know more about the documentary and is happy to share their personal experiences with me. Let me stress, however, that having a chat does not mean you have to take part in the actual programme.
Feel free to PM me here, or email direct on ellen.quinn@bbc.co.uk
Thanks

"she" appears to visit forums and post with regard to their main content, seems we're all a bunch of pike dealers :)

BBC Documentary looking to speak to the cannabis community
Firstly, thanks for taking the time to read my thread. My name is Bart Corpe and I’m part of a small team making a new observational documentary about Cannabis for BBC3. This is hoping to be a fair and balanced look being neither pro-cannabis or trying to be anti.

We are very keen to talk to a wide range of young people who use the drug and are passionate about it. Whether you smoke it for medicinal reasons or just for fun and relaxation, I’d be keen to hear from you. I’m also looking to speak to home growers or even guerrilla growers who grow. Maybe you have dealt in the past or maybe you have a different experience to share. We are not trying to be too scripted in the people who we film with.

Our film will explore what it’s like to be a cannabis user in Britain today. We want to show the truth, and not the usual stereotypes that other parts of the media often portray. Hopefully with the help of genuine users, growers, and other people who smoke cannabis recreationally we can reflect more accurately what the ups, and in some cases, the downs of what using cannabis can be like.

I can assure you this film will be intelligent and thoughtful. We want to give cannabis users the chance to have their thoughts and feelings expressed in a fair and balanced way. I’m also aware that when it comes to filming some people might prefer to remain anonymous, which is certainly something we’d be happy to consider given the legal situation with growing and using cannabis in Britain today.

We will be filming soon in the coming months. Right now I’m very keen to hear from anyone who wants to know more about the documentary and is happy to share their personal experiences with me. Let me stress, however, that having a chat does not mean you have to take part in the actual programme.

Feel free to PM me here, email at bart.corpe@bbc.co.uk or call me on 0117 974 6861

Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hmm, my brother lives in that city, maybe i'll get him to give them a call in the morning, he enjoys weed so should be happy to see if it's legit. A quick google reveals this as being around a TON of message boards, a lot under different guises such as post natal smoking, sperm count etc. (if they're ahving to look at sperm count and that lot, they are really grasping for straws to put in the "not-for-pot" basket :D
